My second entry for JerryBuildsBricks‘s #jbbclassicremake challenge!
This time I’m back to space with the revamp of the classic 6950 - Mobile Rocket Transport set. I kept all the functions, the rear section is steered by a knob at the end, the cabin can hold 3 figs, there are 2 ladders on the sides which can be lowered and of course you can launch the big rocket at any time 😉 And You can still go offroad with it

Here is a baby replica of the latest iteration of the LEGO Galaxy Explorer set 10497. It still has the main play features of the original set just down sized. Pop off canopy, steering wheels, opening rear end with boarding ramp, airlock sliding door and last but not least ride on booster engines!
This was a blast to build. And was inspired by the builds @troublesbricking made while I was travelling Europe. While on holiday I managed to track down this squad of space babies so that when I got as soon as I got back from holiday I could get into building this moc.
A digital LEGO model of a Classic Space castle, built in a similar style as the first LEGO castles from the 80s where the castle can be opened and closed, as seen in the photo.
It is based on the game Classic Space Adventure that I created in 2018.
The model is also uploaded as a LEGO Ideas project which you can check out here. There you can also see many more photos of the space castle.
Remember the 1987 Monorail set 6990? I'm trying to create one using modern parts. The new 2022 city space sets triggered me to try this.
From Star Wars to Classic Space...
Hello to the group, below you see my Classic Space Version of the Mobile Tac-Pod from the LEGO Star Wars Set 75338: Ambush on Ferrix. The Pod, an excellent and clever design of LEGO designer Jme Wheeler is one of my favourite Star Wars sets from the newer series. I like the stucture with all the angles and doors but also the resemblance to the republic gunship. I transformed the ship to an Astronaut transport in the colors and style of LEGO classic space.
Maybe you like the MOD/MOC. Stay safe and keep healthy. #legolux1973 #legoclassicspace #legospace
The planet of Lem 5 was a vital part of the Classic Space system. It's vast tea plantations provided the leaves for a refreshing brew at the end of a hard day of rushing around, exploring and smiling. Unfortunately the planet started to become uninhabitable, due to people experiencing terrible nightmares. Sometimes spacemen would dream that they were being sucked into the vacuum of space, due to their space helmet losing its visor. Even worse were the dreams where there was no cake to go with the tea.
To combat this problem, a brilliant physicist, Andrei Tarkovsky, invented the "Dream Catcher" spaceship. It would hang in space, above the heads of sleeping spacemen and filter the bad dreams out of the atmosphere. The ship was built in a hurry, using a spare pod for the pilot and some left over engines, attached to Tarkovsky's invention.
The nightmares were collected in a large tank at the back of the Dream Catcher and then stored in a old spaceship. When it was full, this ship was safely pushed over the event horizon, into a black hole and forgotten.
The Dream Catcher was eventually retired when the problem was discovered to be a Blacktron plot. Evil agents had established a hidden base on the moon which orbits Lem 5. Inside was a machine for beaming bad dreams into the atmosphere of the planet. The machine was disabled and the spacemen could happily sleep again, dreaming of earl grey and battenburg.

It's all David Alexander Smith's fault...
Yeah, we're moving soon. This house is where PCS started, and where that era ends. Been a lot of MOCs built here, and a lot of friends build out there. All that will continue, just a few miles closer to Atlanta. Holy cow I gotta pack all this crap up.
My wallet is a lot lighter now, but my Classic Space fleet of original designs is finally complete with trans yellow glass, decorated slopes, and light bluish gray rocket engines. Forgive the potato quality picture, better photos to come later.
Even spacepeople need a bit of time to unwind. Tonight is Benny's turn to host so these guys are making sure there's enough space ale for everyone.
New Space Hangar - Area 78
Finally ready. Spaceship based on Nick Trotta's Elfire. "Handplants" seen by Marcel V.
The original FX Star Patroller is kind of ugly and gangly, but this remake is pretty sleek and sturdy. It has three-point retractable landing gear, a rover and robot in the back, and swiveling landing engines. It also comes with a small lunar rock formation with an energy crystal inside. I still need to get a yellow Classic Spaceman from TLM2 as the pilot - blue isn't the right color.
From November 18th to 20th 2022 I went to Bricking Bavaria in Fürth, where Mr_Minotaurus built a spaceway in the style of the old LEGO catalogues for presenting space vehicles in the style of the 80s and 90s. This inspired me to contribute a little remake of the Space Police II set "Sonar Security" (6852) from '93.
Up next is the updated 483 Alpha One Rocket Base. Enjoy, and please feel free to comment! Please support classic space by clicking the link below!

The A.D.R. "Turtle" is a specialised military rover deployed throughout the galaxy to provide protection on planetary exploration missions. Designed to take a beating the A.D.R. also includes several laser canons and dual missile launchers capable of targeting both ground and aerial threats.
Time for a little shameful self promotion. I built this for the Lego Ideas Moments in Space contest. The winner receives the possibility of having their design made into gift with purchase set. If you like my design (and would like the chance to snag one for yourself), please consider voting for me! ideas.lego.com/challenges/1b817aba-3990-4e6d-a17f-7a59a94...

The Blacktron Legacy had many great ships, none less than the Allied Avenger.
After many years, the Allied Avenger was replaced with the Revenger. Armed with improvements such as larger size which leads to more crew and weaponry, the Revenger then saw expanded use in Blacktron space. The Denizens of Local Space just thought it was an Allied Avenger spacecraft that was closer, and thusly blew them up much fast with triton torpedoes.
*Design note: the aim was to cop the original Allied Avenger (that I twice owned!) in shape and overall scope. I feel the overall design philosophy has been upsized and also refined with new LEGO pieces and components.

Technic functional goodness!
Even though I grew up with LEGO Technic before my semi-dark ages, my skills in it are still rusty. I struggled for weeks trying to make the 4-wheel drive, pendular suspension, steering, double V8 engine, and working flatbed.
When the troops need support on the front line the LA53r Artillery Battery can deliver. With it's 40 pound plasma energy charge capable of a 250 mile range it's more than capable of vaporizing the strongest enemy troops.
NCS fast transport.
