I have to wait until Monday! That’s SOOOOOO long from now.

I don't know why my Target keeps doing this. Last year I grabbed an Advent Calendar too early, because some knucklehead put THAT out on the shelves early.

Honestly I think the stoners that stock the shelves do it on purpose and then hang out in the security office to watch the reactions of excited shoppers.

Beware of the zombie spacemen....

The mainstay of the Unitron's Volunteer Patrol Force, the Star Hawk IV was responsible for sector patrol in the service of peace and harmony.

Sporting lasers, missiles, and disintegrators, the Star Hawk was deadly to any and all enemies to peace by annihilating said enemies by unequal force of arms. And if all else failed, the blistering speed allowed the Unitron pilot to flee when they found themselves outgunned.

*Note: This was built in 2021 as part of my Neo-Classic Space builds. In my world, Unitron was a volunteer force, and generally inept, balanced out by the able M:Tron force.

Almost missed another year. A Classic Viper for Novvember.

A speedy spaceship, perfect for busily rushing around the galaxy, as was the wont of Classic Spacemen.

Space crew gave it a pet name: „The Grab”. Officially however, it is called MV-300 – a vehicle designed to search for radioactive crystals (powerful energy source) that are often found in massive rock formations. Usually it is accompanied by the team equipped with exo-suits, who extracts the crystals from the rocks. MV-300 can not only “grab” the massive rocks, but it also has an inbuilt reactor that can fuse the crystals and transform them into the fuel.

Built for the Christchurch Brick show in 2015 this classic space/ Tintin crossover was built to the moonbase standards, in that it has 4x 48 stud moonbase modules.

The rocket opens up to reveal the classic spacemen living their daily lives.

Approx 3,000 bricks and took 2 weeks to build

The hardest part of the model was recreating the LEGO moonbase from the 80's on a 3x scale!

Made for the "Out of this World Space Builds!" contest on Ideas. Neo-CS ship, with its docking robot.

The CATT (Configurable All-Terrain Truck) is a modular space vehicle designed for easily changing attachments and features for different capabilities. This configuration includes a front winch, top lighting and sensors, and a rear 6x6 cargo area with a lift gate.

I also have a longer four-seat variant (CATT-4) awaiting photos, and several ideas for other cargo/utility configurations.

Vette, Vette, VETTE! Benny has done it again! Now he has a rover that looks like a Vette!

I used the great file that Murdoch17 created "1960s Yellow Convertible Car (76077 "Lola" MOD)" and modified it.

Even spacemen need to just have fun sometimes :)

I had to build somewhere to put these little ships. Thanks to Rod for showing me how to use joysticks properly.

This evening I only wanted to sort some bricks and clean up my workspace. Now it looks worse than before. ;-)

Walkers were used by the Federation ground crew to traverse inhospitable planet surfaces, covering large tracts where exploratory skimmers and other flyers were too dangerous to use.

In later years of the Federation the same exploratory walkers had scanning arrays and other sensors replaced with weapon mounts to defend distant outposts from Blacktron attack.

Inspired by ama77what's brilliantly tiny Mighty Mk3 and in the background of course Legoloverman's brilliantly detailed Recon Walker (now almost a decade old!). These three represent in between members of the family! The old grey family. (did I already say I love old grey?)

Benny is back!

Scarab Pods were tiny craft that could be launched from much larger vessels within the Federation's fleet. Used for short range missions and as escape pods when large ships had to be abandoned, they were extremely tough and durable, able to weather harsh atmospheric conditions and extremes of heat as they carried their pilots to safety.

More angles of the LL-234.

One of my personnal favorites in my series of recolored sets.

This is my first foray into Neo Space, using the short-lived Spyrius theme as my inspiration.

When I was growing up, one of my favourite sets was 6835 Saucer Scout. I loved the sleek design and the symmetry of it, and it was one of the few sets I never took apart to build other things with.

This model is my interpretation of a MK2 version, with a larger and sleeker body, more powerful thrusters and a long-range communications antenna to relay information back to Spyrius HQ. The ship is unarmed, as it's designed to be fast and stealthy, and won't stand up in a firefight against enemy starfighters.

Here are the promised detail shots of the ship itself.

Another day, another Galaxy Explorer. This one is mainly interesting for the big canopy behind the main canopy. The original uses an obsolete part for that, so I reworked the rear fuselage to use a modern part. I originally planned to put another crew station back there, but I'm working on another Galaxy Explorer that has extra crew stations in the aft fuselage, so I decided to put a little flyer there instead. It's a space jetski because SPAAACE. I also tried a new technique for the ventral fuselage. The cockpit furnishings, rover, and landing gear are copy-pasted from other builds.

Channel 78 crew is looking for the best location to shoot a new episode of the popular TV show "Hot date with the man in helmet" ^^

Federation ATR Rover 3 on Night Patrol in Sector 12

What's going on here?

-

We are not sure, but a Blacktron space zombie, Stormtrooper, Rebel Pilot, and Classic Spaceman are under arrest by LAPD. Why? It appears the group was involved in stealing computers and a lot of them.

-

Attorney's for the arrested claim their clients are innocent and plan on fighting the charges. The attorney for the Space Zombie, said his client should just be shot into space because, well, he's a space zombie.

-

These guys are going away for a very long time!

The latest addition to Planet Duplovia.

The main body of this walker was originally built to feature in the LEGO Space: Building the Future book, but it didn't make the final cut. I have given it a makeover and it's ready to go again!

(Edited with Pixelmator)

Neo-Classic Space heavy fighter, sort of thing.

Probably not my best set of engines ever, but I'm rather pleased with that dual cockpit.

Months in the making (due to chronic procrastination), I have spent the last few days as a hermit, only emerging from the quarry to search for food & to scuttle to work when the sun sets...

This rover I wanted to build for a long time, now I am glad that is finally completed.

It's about 57 cm long.

Thanks to Fausto De Martini for inspiration.

Fission! One Atomium went to Stijn, and the other is still stationed in my bookcase.

I also made a high-speed construction video here on Flickr, and a construction walkthrough with commentary on YouTube at youtu.be/w1UFBmAib9A.
