The dual windscreens in 10497 gave me the idea to try to create a classic space version of my favorite Star Wars ship, the U-wing. Overall I am pretty happy with this one. I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep the functions of the U-wing but managed to get the sweeping s-foils and opening troop compartment doors (this with the addition of 2 1L axle/pins and 4 2L axle pins). All other parts come from the set. The part count comes in a little over 900. RogueOlympics at roguebricks.de: Every week we gotta build something with a new theme but with no more then 101 bricks. I thought, whatever the theme, I'll only do spaceships so here is my microscale hangar. Oh yes, this weeks theme was "big and small"
The idea for this MOC came from the red wheels. The wheel suspension is flexible so that rocks in the way should not be a problem ;-)

Prefabricated, fully sealed outposts were one way that allowed the Federation rapid expansion onto new worlds. These surface bases provided hubs for exploratory vehicles, and often contained larger scientific instruments for analysis that would be impractical to carry on mobile laboratories. Once a planet's atmosphere had been properly measured, tested, and transformed, less stringently sealed construction could occur on the surface, and these outposts could then be recycled for further use on new frontiers.
I started this build with the idea of building something entirely studs up using large panel pieces so beloved of later classic space sets. I got quite far, but I couldn't resist when closing up the back using more modern techniques, in order to maintain certain symmetries. Still, I'm happy with how clean this build came out. It has a full interior, which I will also try to capture.
40 years of classic space!
Episode 14 of this year's FebRovery and equalling my usual average of 1 rover every other day, this little runabout rover using the barrel sections from the UCS Galaxy Explorer rounds out my builds for the month.
A small Blacktron attack craft I built for New Elementary using the grey backside of the NinjaGo Arcade Pods.
The top parts are Bionicle armour pieces from 2008-2009, added to this spaceship during a Bionicle-themed LondonAFOLs meet-up to convey a bit of alien technology into this angular craft.

Taking SNOT to its extreme conclusion, this is a Classic Space ship built almost entirely "upside down". Comes with upside down lunar rover as well.
This is NOT my creation, this is a little Rover shown in the Idea Book 250 (from 1987).
As I have now almost all the space sets from before 1996, I expand my collection with oddities, like things shown in the old Ideas Books. This one is really charming IMO, hope my photos will give Spacers the will to build it :-D

Jumping on the trend initiated by Andrew Latham, Jason Andrew Davies and Cyril Deble, here is my take on Andrew’s Trailblazer.
I decided not to restrict myself to only Classic Space elements, and instead embrace and incorporate some of the new elements available.
Also, in true spirit of Classic Space, I opted to replace the Sol-Air missiles by side boosters.
I call it the Trailhauler because unlike the Trailblazer, it's main purpose is to transport personel and equipment, hence why the rear door has more clearance and the extra boosters. It also has a trailer hitch so I can haul more equipment.
Solar flare? Meteor storm? Creepy space alien looking at you in a funny way? Then you need the new RETRACT-O-ROVER™!
If you are even slightly anxious about a situation, simply press the "RETRACT LID™" button and activate the "COME AND GET ME QUICK™" beacon.

I did no research for this model. Obviously it's a nod to Aliens and the Matrix (and WH40k Sentinels). But I didn't look at a single reference picture till it was done.
The Lego City 60430: Interstellar Spaceship, being too small, too ugly, too many visible stud, too simple, etc ...
... I decided to re-do it again LEGO hurt my eyes too much. It tickled my fingers seriously. Worse it's space ! I could not resist.

To make the flame/cone of the reactor, I used an Indian trick or innovated : NPU ! I used the transparent Dragon eggs, from the Lego Elves series (sets 41171 & 41180)

Then I stacked 2x2 or 3x3 transparent-red dishes, to build the inside of the flame/cone.

Had to be a ship containing a smaller vehicle in the colour scheme of one out of a list of classic themes. I already had an idea for another wedge craft built around the new trans-yellow canopy, so thought I'd give it a whirl.

A variant of my LL-926, fully updated using mostly modern parts (e.g. light bluish gray), and every part is easily available and cheap on bricklink. I finally caved to requests and made made instructions for the first time - a fascinating process! It has a fully detailed underside, functional landing gear, a moveable hatch, rear ramp and transport buggy which fits neatly inside, and is fully swooshable! (One slight thing to note on the underside - on the underside bricklist, the landing gear are in dark bluish gray to save money)
(even if you don't purchase would help me out if you take a look, and maybe even like/comment on Rebrickable as that lets it get more visible)

The CATT (Configurable All-Terrain Truck) is a modular space vehicle designed for easily changing attachments and features for different capabilities. This configuration includes a front winch, top lighting and sensors, and a rear 6x6 cargo area with a lift gate.
As has been mention before during this Febrovery, in an infinite universe, blessed with faster-than-light travel, manufacturing industry has ceased (Apart from the artisan production of chocolate Hobnobs in Harlesden). Whatever you need will occur naturally on a planet somewhere.
The planet of Brwsh IV, was home to several species of useful plants and trees. Of particular note were the Backscrubbingbrush bush (seen on the right) and the Bogbrush tree (seen in the background). Our happy driver has a dried and painted backscrubbingbrush bush in his hand. The bogbrush trees were felled and zapped with a shrink ray, in order to make them the correct size, before being exported across the galactic disc.
Spring is here! I took a selfie sitting outdoors enjoying the warm sunrays. The selfie part was somewhat unintentional but I’ll let it pass – this time.
This rover I wanted to build for a long time, now I am glad that is finally completed.
It's about 57 cm long.

This planetary explorer (factory name: “PEX-1ML”) was designed as a mobile base (serving also as a laboratory and an observatory). It has all the necessary equipment to explore terrain of new planets. Its drivetrain and suspension was built to handle very rough terrain, while its body was constructed from materials that can withstand almost any weather conditions.

I realized that in two years I've never posted a behind the scenes of the Benny's series, with the exception of the very first photos. So, here it is. While I was taking the "Space Cowboy Saturday" photo yesterday, I also took this Behind the Scenes. This is where everything has happened in the last two years. Outpost Alpha (that's the name of Benny's base) itself is small, just 20 x 38 studs, I take it out of the box where I keep it and in less than ten minutes I am ready to shoot. On the inside there are four white LEDs from Lifelites on the ceiling for the main lighting and other three LEDs over the airlock. A black cardboard and the Alderaan planet from Star Wars mini planets series to simulate the outer space than can be seen through the window. And then I add different accessories for every photo. That's it. Hope you like it!
This low-altitude dropship holds four minifigs in the back. I built it for the Lego Ideas Minifigure battle contest. 202 comes from 2020, the year I built my first NCS Moc.
With a large fleet of spaceships and many ground units like the APC mobile, the S.H.A.D.O.* agency needs a modern and well equipped bay.
My latest build is the S.H.A.D.O. maintenance bay where the agency's mechanics and engineers can fix and re-fit the Interceptors and possibly the ground units.
The facility is full of details and it features also a service vehicle, a forklift and an hand pallet truck.
Under the wing an operator is welding a support and please take a look at the sparks ;)
A little workbench and the column drill press are positioned on the right.
A spare nuclear missile is ready to be loaded.

*SHADO (an acronym for Supreme Headquarters, Alien Defence Organisation) is a secret, high-technology international agency established to defend Earth and humanity against the mysterious aliens. SHADO was the main subject of UFO, the popular '70 British television science fiction series about an alien invasion of Earth.
Futuron* was a peaceful and friendly population.
Indeed their ground vehicles and spacecrafts were designed to explore new planets and new worlds.
But something is changing: a black menace is coming from the deep space, its name is Blacktron.
The black men want to attack the Futuron people probably to steal the sought after and valued Monorail.
To prevent the Blacktron attack a new armored vehicle is ready to fire: the "White Tiger".
This medium-class tank features 2 middle-range surface-to-air guns, a rotating turret and a crew of three (the commander, the driver and the gunner).
The nick name is a tribute to the invincible german White Tiger tank from WWII.
Will the "Tiger" be able to destroy the black menace?
*Futuron was a subtheme of LEGO Space released between 1987 and 1990 to replace Classic Space series.

Scarab Pods were tiny craft that could be launched from much larger vessels within the Federation's fleet. Used for short range missions and as escape pods when large ships had to be abandoned, they were extremely tough and durable, able to weather harsh atmospheric conditions and extremes of heat as they carried their pilots to safety.

Yet another in Llwyngwril Space Systems' "upgrades" of the classic 886 rover. Sadly, this particular version proved to be safe, useful and popular: an unexpected blemish on the company's record of generally weird and dangerous vehicles.
I wanted to upload this because my iPhone has a macro setting that kicks in automagically when you put it really close to something. I’m hoping on a proper monitor you can really see how beautiful the printing is. In the back you can see the XL-15, which is not a small ship.
That was my third entry for the contest "Out of this World Space Builds" on Lego Idea.
Story:
“We meet again our two fellow classic space figs, Eddy and Cindy with their new outfits. They are now going on a new adventure, exploring space!
Unfortunately, this spaceship doesn't have a rover to explore the surface of new discovered planets but have a little useful speeder bike attached to the rear. Well, Cindy have difficulties to handle the speeder and is kind of scared by its power ... (both minifigs have a double side face, one normal and the other scared ... the speeder bike is definitively difficult to handle!!)”
In fact, it was designed to be with this diorama but it was a large spaceship so I decided to substitute another (smaller) and make this one on his own.
