I spotted this whilst making a coffee, and wanted to show the glacier-like shadows on the plain surface.
An overcast day at the famous walled garden at Scampston Hall, but plenty of colour still in the flower beds and borders in the 'outdoor' rooms.
The wildflower meadow around the base of the mound has just been cut, hence the untidy appearance of the area.

One of the things that I appreciate about Venice, and Italy in general, is that they allow the old to coexist with the new. Old and new buildings, signs, and art occupy the same space everywhere you look.
I appreciate that even something this old Kodak sign is kept displayed in the walkway. The shop that used this for advertising is long gone, but this reminder of what previously occupied the space remains.

One of my favourites during all of 2020, a very unusual and hard year for so many, but this light whimsical photo makes me feel good. Enjoy.
Taken on one of my daily exercise walks during Covid. A quick and serendipitous shot. When I quickly moved aside to maintain a social 2m distance from this approaching woman, I saw this neat composition with its angled layers: the airy pink cosmos blowing in the wind, the woman walking by, and the intersection of traffic in the background.
Also happened to be one of the first shot with my Fuji X100V. Used the new Classic Negative Simulation, which seemed fitting for this fall scene (DSCF0042).
On this particular day, I arrived at the office slightly earlier and spotted this nice light in one of the meeting rooms.
I would of loved to have made this into a portrait with somone sat in the chair though!
