Out on my walk today, I visited the grounds of a local church. This is Church of the Nativity in Menlo Park, Calif. I wish I'd taken a wide-angle lens with me in order to capture the whole building. #classicneg
Shot with the Pentax 645D and interpreted with a tweaked Classic Negative colour profile from Fujifilm.

We had a break in the rain, so I grabbed a pizza for lunch. This meant a trip to Avanti Pizza in Menlo Park, Calif. All went well, though I am sometimes confused by the trash/recycling bins. I try to follow the signage, but that doesn't always clear things up for me. #classicnegative
Dairy cows enjoying an afternoon repast at the family farm. Soon they'll be wintering over in the barn.
Though it was very crowded at Peet's Coffee today, everyone was smiling and laughing. It felt nice. On these visits, I always enjoy reviewing the many pins, buttons and slogans on the baristas’ aprons. Good messages abound. #classicnegative

“Oh you know me. I have no emotions. I'm a robot. Or a nun. A robot nun.”
―(David Nicholls)―
My tiny wind-up Gorilla (could he be King-Kong?) keeps my small robot Nun company, atop one of my bookshelves.
Over the past few years, I have certainly whined a lot about our Northern California drought. However, and surprisingly, we are getting a lot of rain this year –– it means we may be able to avoid wildfire season in Summer/Fall 2023. When you see my wife’s raincoat hanging on the back of the closet door, then you know the wet stuff is happening. We are very thankful for this. #classicnegative

This pic is from fooling around with my camera while waiting on the family's Friday night takeout. The restaurant was Amigo's in Ladera, Calif. Yes, it was crowded, but it felt good to not be too COVID afraid. Our family has all the shots and probably some that haven't been developed yet. #classicnegative
While out walking, I came across this old English telephone booth on the edge of the forest. As I approached it, I realized that it had been converted into a toilet :) Fuji's Classic Negative style, I think, gives it back its old-fashioned look and sets it off beautifully.

When I trudged upstairs after waking, I noticed this wall switch in the spotlight. Even in my pre-coffee stupor, I was somehow able to grab a camera before the light changed. #classicnegative
At the farmers market. Aside from cropping, this is SOOC using the Classic Negative film simulation.
I believe this farm was close to Addison, VT. It was too photogenic to pass up, even though that meant pulling off the shoulder of a busy road.
