If it had been on time I wouldn't have made it. It was due through at 14:30 and it was running 88 minutes late by the time it passed Congleton. I checked the TOPS list at 15:40 and it showed 37057 and 37421 on the train. I hoped 37057 would be leading and it was. 37057 and 37421 pass Congleton working 1Z08 the 13:00 Derby R.T.C - Longsight 23/11/15

A first & last look at 37099s' short-lived BR "banger blue" livery, having been released to traffic just over a week earlier.
Running as 0F85 14:20 Bescot TMD - Cardiff Canton on 04/11/2016, the still gleaming 37 stands at Cardiff Central awaiting the road to Canton TMD where it will be repainted into Colas Rail "house" colours.
This is (therefore) one of the final pictures of it in BR blue.
37419 heads back down the valley having just departed Pontllotyn with 2F22 1115 Rhymney - Cardiff back in August 2004.
37516 and 37689 pass through sleepy Ancaster, between Grantham and Sleaford working the 6E02 10.24 Toton to Boston docks empty steel train on the 19th Jan 2000.

Just checking out Kidsgrove for the week and saw a test trainon Tuesday from Derby - Carlisle. 37116 and 37025 pass Bathpool Park running around 5 minutes late working the 10:15 Derby R.T.C - Carlisle High Wapping Sidings 30/8/16
Europhoenix Class 37/6 No.37611 Pegasus in Norwich Low Level on 22nd November 2022 working 0Z95 11:05 to Stowmarket DGL to join the RHTT group.
As dusk falls, 37884 races through Biggleswade, 25 minutes after sunset, with 375611 for overhaul at Derby. This was running as 5Q57, around 20 mins late, and diverted from its normal WCML route.
