LMS/BR 2MT 2-6-0 46521 at Dolgellau with the 14:55 from Barmouth to Bala on the last day of workings between Barmouth and Bala.
I think that the man in front of the engine about to climb on to the platform is carrying the single line section staff in its loop holder.

Preserved London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) Class 2MT 2-6-0 steam locomotive 46521 and me at Loughborough Locomotive Works on the heritage Great Central Railway in Leicestershire (UK).
46521 was designed by (ex) LMS Chief Mechanical Engineer Henry George Ivatt at British Railways Swindon Works in February 1953 and was withdrawn from service on October 31st 1966.
I was built a few months later in 1967. ☺️
On May 4th 1945 at 2030 hours the BBC announced, much to the relief of soldiers that all German troops in north-west Germany,Holland and Denmark had surrendered . 4th wilts( Wiltshire regiment) who were posted at Belsen,Germany got this back home. These are grim reminder of the past , collected at Belsen concentration camps.

The locomotive is a so-called Ivatt Class-2 2-6-0. I picked this particular locomotive because I have a picture of this very truck carrying this type, so I know the truck can carry it. Furthermore, the size and scale suits Lego's own train wheels. Finally, I hope to display this model at the Great Western Brick show, which is held in a former railway works where this locomotive was built.

Widząc pierwszy raz taki widok, masz wrażenie;ale duży ogród z zabawką w środku przypominająca małą kolejkę, a to prawdziwa kolej w małym wydaniu. Niegdyś wożąca ciężkie składy żelaza i granitu z okolicznych kopalń, a dziś żądnych wrażeń turystów. Jeden z tych małych gigantów Class 2-8-2 „River Esk” złapany pomiędzy przystankami w okolicy Eskdale w przepięknym regionie Wielkiej Brytanii tzw. Lake District w Cumbrii.
It used to transport heavy iron and granite bulks from the local mines, and today it is tourists who are eager to experience it. One of those little giants of Class 2-8-2 "River Esk" caught between stops in the Eskdale area in the beautiful region of Great Britain called Lake District in Cumbria.

There are some compromises in the look of the tender: it houses the 9V lego motor, that pivots for tight turns and whose sides don't really match the look of its real-world counterpart. Also, the rear buffer is attached to the train motor, so it pivots with the motor.
