A hunting scene and the double disc Pictish symbol is visible on this face which is not visible from the roadside. Three trumpeters are also visible.
Strangely the missionaries or scribes from the Celtic church did not record the meaning of the symbols in their texts. This was even more strange as Celtic christian crosses were engraved on one side of the class II symbol stones or cross slabs. The Roman church unlike the Celtic church did not allow Celtic symbols or anything non-Christian on their religious monuments.

The Aberlemno 3, class II Pictish symbol stone, also called the Great Stone. The ornate Celtic cross is impressive with two angels either side, one reading a book.

A 'Class II Pictish Symbol Stone', located to the west of Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeenshire. Today the 3.2m tall pink granite slab is rather weathered, especially on this cross bearing side. However even still the stone still clearly shows its strange Pictish symbols in beautiful relief carvings.

Preserved former British Railways Class 2 2-6-2T steam locomotive 41298 was photographed at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway’s Wootton station on 30 June 2022. The locomotive was built at British Railways’ Crewe Works in 1951 to a design by George Ivatt for the London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS). It was withdrawn from service in 1967 at the end of steam working on the Southern Region and was sold to the Ivatt Locomotive Trust for preservation.
