Looking fairly complete from this angle class 2 tank 41313 is seen in the workshop at Cranmore. Note that the loco is facing the opposite direction to all others on the railway which will provide different photo opportunities when running.

Our assignment for class 2 was to play with shutter speeds and take 2 pictures (again) of the same object one with a fast shutter speed and one with a slow.

A great shot of a train Guard having opened the crossing gates waits for his train to pass headed by a Class 2 No78052 on the Dornoch Branch in The Royal Burgh of Dornoch Scotland where Madonna was Married. Today the railway travel involves train to to Inverness, then the Wick/Thurso train to Tain (10 minutes by taxi to Dornoch). Now there's progress for you?

Early days of a newbuild project of GCR 567, with the frames of a Class 2 4-4-0 of the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway (MS&LR), which later became part of the Great Central Railway.
The project is located at the Nottingham Heritage Railway.

British Railwys (Midland Region) 2-6-0 Class 2 No. 46521 at Rothley
This locomotive was originally preserved at the Severn Valley Railway and was the star of BBC TV Drama series 'Oh Doctor Beeching!' when it was named 'Blossom'. She hauled three carmine and cream Mark 1 carriages over Victoria Bridge and into/out of Arley Station, which itself was renamed 'Hatley'.
