Visiting British Railways 2-6-0 Class 2 No. 46521 at Crowcombe Heathfield
This locomotive was originally preserved at the Severn Valley Railway and was the star of BBC TV Drama series 'Oh Doctor Beeching!' when it was named 'Blossom'. She hauled three carmine and cream Mark 1 carriages over Victoria Bridge and into/out of Arley Station, which itself was renamed 'Hatley'.

The faint lettering of the Southern Railway can be made out with a keen eye, very faded along the body of the former SR unit as it rusts away in the SARM deadlines.

BR 2-6-0 Class 2MT No. 78022 built at Darlington works in 1945 and seen in the under restoration at Haworth.
Darlington works was responsible for building the entire fleet of 65 engines of whioch 3 survive.
