British Railways (Midland Region) 2-6-0 Class 2 No. 46521 takes on water at Loughborough Central

This locomotive was originally preserved at the Severn Valley Railway and was the star of BBC TV Drama series 'Oh Doctor Beeching!' when it was named 'Blossom'. She hauled three carmine and cream Mark 1 carriages over Victoria Bridge and into/out of Arley Station, which itself was renamed 'Hatley'.

BR 2-6-0 Class 2MT No. 78022 built at Darlington works in 1945 and seen in the under restoration at Haworth.

Darlington works was responsible for building the entire fleet of 65 engines of whioch 3 survive.

(NOTE: The 4th preserrved example of this class is to be transformed into a tank engine version of this locomotive)
