This is my third attempt at a coning/multiplicity picture. Just 2 images this time, but I'm pretty happy with it.
Okay, so it's a bit of a cheater dress in that the top is a shirt that I picked up at goodwill, but it's a dress nonetheless! I had bought this jersey to make a skirt out of, but when I saw this tutorial, I had to make it. I saw the tutorial yesterday morning and made it last night!
I found this polka dot fabric in my stash and started to make a top out of that, but hit up goodwill on the way to get the kiddo last night and found a sleeveless brown top that fit the bill. The funny thing was, the thing was WAY short, but that didn't matter since I was cutting it off. I think I love this dress and will wear it a lot this spring and summer. It will make it's debut at an egg hunt this weekend!
ETA (mostly so I remember) - A few mods I would do next time -
1. Make the ties shorter. I made them a bit longer than called for just to be sure but could probably go with the recommended length.
2. Move the ties back a bit further when I attach them. I may do this with this one later, but I think it would be better with this style of tie to move it back a bit so the join isn't so noticeable from the front.
Bought an HD videocam from ebay, but it only had a digital zoom.
So I bought a monocular from ebay and ....
Just hand-held but it looks promising so I will build a small mounting to hold it in the right place and try again.

I suppose it would be a vehicle that gave the impression of being somewhat wholesome, environmentally sound and well considered product, when actually it was helping to kill the world and its inhabitants.
Perhaps I'm being a little harsh, but then we are taking about the behaviour of a sneaky, lying, underhand, criminal, major automotive manufacturer that should really know better.
Reducing nitrogen oxides matters because high levels increase the risk of respiratory and heart diseases, and lead to tens of thousands of premature deaths every year in the UK alone... and now CO2 levels from small engines cars like the Up! are now being questioned.

Volkswagen stated in a statement that "the safety of the vehicles is in no way compromised". Note the careful wording.
But maybe something good will come of this scandal...
"But even without deliberate cheating, real-world car emissions of nitrogen oxides are typically around 7 times higher than those measured in lab tests, which involve driving a car on a “treadmill” in a set pattern. Emissions of other pollutants, including particulates and carbon dioxide, are also higher. This is why the European Union is already planning to introduce “real-world” testing from 2017."

This is my cheat sheet or, as I prefer to call it an aide memoir.
We would never have allowed students taking exams at Anfield to use this sort of thing unless it was specified for the particular paper they were sitting. If they tried to cheat in this way, they would have been disqualified.
I may not need it but if I do, then I will use it and I don’t care what anyone else says.
When I have finished, I’ll take it to the chemist for him to make up.

FINALLY i was able to go take pictures. ashley is adorablee. ill probably cheat and put some of the other ones up from today becauseee i really like them..shhhh.
we found this super cute dog here and it was shaking :( it tried to get in my car but i couldnt take it home. then when we left it started running down the road towards us. ahhh i wanted to keep it so badlyy.

I really am going to honor my wife's wishes that this be a Christmas present. That said, I had to make sure it works, because there will be no returning six weeks from now. I have a Nikon Coolpix pocket camera to tide me over until then.
Let's just say that I really wanted to do a tight crop like this as part of the 100 Possibilities, and the old camera couldn't pull it off. I. can't. wait. until. Christmas.
