Working on a small thing to recharge and relax after each long day. Many things happened lately and I'm kinda drained from running after three kids and cooking and all the chores all by myself. I'm not superwoman. So it's really nice to have a quiet half hour each night to just handsew something small. I miss patchwork but I don't have time to do it. So I use this cheater fabric to make myself feel better.

This image shows boyfriend and another woman stand under a lamp in the street below. The story tells us that the boyfriend is cheating on his girlfriend with another woman. And they meet in a place where is empty and no one is around. One thing that I would change is the negative space as it catches a lot of the image but it also works as a leading line to the main point which is the two characters.

Charlie collapsed, his suit slowly staining with blood. The Don calmly walked around his desk, pulling out a fat, home rolled cigarette. He fished in his pocket for a lighter. Charlie, horrified and shaking with a gaping hole in his chest, scrambled over the wood floor, backing his way over to the Don's record player, jumping the needle to the next song. He struggled to push himself further back, to just disappear. His bloody hand continually slipped across the stained wood.
The Don stops, lights his cigarette and puffs.
"Charlie, let me introduce you to my top hitman, Abele Giordano. He just emigrated from Italy and comes highly recommended." A young, broad man stepped into the room, holding a smoking .45. He bent down akwardly and picked up the Thompson.
"Have you ever read the book of Ezekiel, Charlie?"
Charlie gave no response.
"No? I thought you would have. It's really quite an interesting read.'The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men...blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness...for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children...and I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers...and you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.'
"I control this city, Charlie. I control Abele, here. I control the police. I control the newspapers. I fucking control you, too! If you think you can strut around MY town, doing whatever the fuck YOU want, you will end up floating down shit creek without a paddle, son. Even if by some miracle that you escape this office, I will hunt you down like the fucking dog you are," the Don chuckled. "But that's not going to happen, now, is it?"
The Don kneeled at Charlies side, grabbed is head and forced their eyes to meet. "You're in my house, now, Charles." He slammed Charlie's head into the wood. The Don stood, and walked back to the front of his desk. Charlie looked up.
The beauty is only skin-deep: what looks like a fluffy fleece are trillions of hard, 2.5 cm long barbed spines. The defense of the "Teddy-Bear Cholla" cactus is very effective as I had to learn the hard way.
The illicit thrill, the agonising wait, the twitch of the curtains. The gentle slam of the door behind you....

I feel somewhat cheated after seeing this amazing piece of brickwork up on the 'Heads Of The Valleys Road' in Wales today.
I drove past it and thought 'I have to take a pic of that!' so I parked up and walked over to it and snapped away for a minute or two. Looking at it I thought that it must have taken some decent bricklaying skills to pull that one off! Only then did I actually walk up to it and lay my hand on it. Not looking too closely I thought that it felt a little odd, almost warm, not like cold,hard stone. And then it dawned on me - the whole thing is made of PLASTIC!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't do it on purpose though. blame my eagerness to be succesful mixed with a non-understanding of the matter/technique ; )

OK so this one is from a walk on monday and not today but I already have 4 punishments for missing days coming my way, i can't afford to risk a fifth.

Whoops, I meant "Tweet Tweet". This is a photograph I took of a birdhouse. There were no birds at the time, so I added some.
I'm cheating on my 365 a little today. I actually took this picture yesterday on my laptop (while I was climbing all over the playground barefoot and in a dress - great fun) but I forgot my USB drive so I couldn't transfer it over to the PC that has internet here at the shop. So I took a new pic with my phone, the one of my bruise. I was still going to take new pictures today but then I left my phone at home accidentally. And I didn't bring my laptop either. I do have my big camera but the cord to connect it to my computer is packed up in a storage building in Plano. So it's lucky that I remembered to put these on my USB drive and throw that in my purse or else today's 365 would be non-existent.
Anyway today has already been a little up and down. I got up late (minus) and threw on a dress (that I love - plus) and ran out the door - forgetting my phone AND my wallet in the process (minus). Then Murphy USA didn't have any Rockstar OR Venom so I got Pepsi instead (minus) but the man at the counter randomly gave me free Skittles AND Starburst (plus). And of course I walked outside and there were Rockstar in the cooler outside so I could've gotten one after all (minus). And now I'm at work watching Weeds (plus) and uploading this.
Bueno and I had a rough night last night because I asked him to tell me ahead of time when he's going to be able to leave school tonight and he got suspicious and upset. He didn't believe me when I said I was trying to do something nice for him. And then I was really stoned and fell asleep in the middle of the text conversation and he got really upset, saying that he's heard that before from the girls who have cheated on him, and accused ME of cheating on him although not in so many words. So then I was really hurt because I'm not Tera, and I'm not Alex, and I'm not cheating on him and I never would. And I really hoped that we were at the point where he doesn't doubt that any more but clearly we aren't. So I was - am still - a little hurt that I'm trying to do something special for him to make up for being a pain in the ass lately and he accuses me of cheating on him. So even though we worked it out and he realized - all over again - that I'm not going to be like the others and I'm not going to hurt him, I still feel like we took a step backwards. Again. And while I'm being honest I might as well admit that it does hurt my feelings that he still doesn't trust me as fully as he says he does.
