A full on run after the ball.

I loved the backdrop to the dead tree.

I finally found some time to pick up my camera again and go storm chasing. I found this beautiful formation with a nice little rainbow.

I have been chasing this shot since 2013 and finally after 5 years and two failed attempts all the conditions lined up perfectly for me. I guess photography is all about taking chances and one day it all falls in place and if it does not we just need to keep trying until it does.

This was shot from Rowena Crest in Oregon where every spring lupines and balsamroot put up a show on the hills. It was very windy that day so I was very worried about how to get the flowers in focus and avoid motion blur. Luckily we walked up the hill and found this location that was shielded by a ridge and was relatively calm.

I am so glad I made this trip.

A westbound loaded coal train chases the night as it rolls through Beaver Falls, PA, before sunrise. The power is an eclectic mix of a pair of rebuilt SD60Es (with interesting cab geometry) book-ending a standard cab C40-9.

The Chase in Rayleigh runs across the picture. The cul de sac bottom right is Popes Walk. Bull Lane can also be seen.

New Chase Bank that opened in the past few months in Lafayette, California.

The bank tellers have been replaced by large self serve machines that give cash in any type of dollar bill. They also take check deposits by scanning them. The ATM lobby is open 24 hours a day and each machine has a cup of Chase lollipops available.

I remember years ago when there used to be a huge line of people at banks waiting for tellers. Now practically everything can by done by a machine.
