Some more progress on mask. Top jaw taped for pattern cutout, eyes not attached but shown for vision and position test. Horns covered, fabric hot glued.
These are my first Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise cards I ever got. I’m pretty sure the Venusaur is a Japanese promo so don’t ask how I got it because I don’t remember… I actually do not own an English version of the original Venusaur card. But I have a first edition German one. Another card I really don’t know how I got my hands on.
As for the Charizard, my grandma used to send me Japanese cards all the time (being from Hawaii has its perks if you want to find Japanese stuff in the US). So one day she sent me a pack and bam, there it was. Needless to say I flipped out like probably every other kid my age did when they got a Charizard. Blastoise was just a lucky find as well.
A work in progress shot of the eyes. White plastic is from the siding of a colander bowl and cut with a dremmel tool.
The Pokemon GO! Community Day took place all over the world on this day in July and Squirtle was the special Pokemon to capture.
The Edmond Gamers group of the City of Edmond took it one step farther and businesses downtown welcomed all to wander the streets (where plenty of pokestops and pokegyms were located).

Yes, the WIP I started a few month ago is FINALLY complete. I got the tail from the Series 5 Lego Minifigures, then painted it. It's not as good as I hoped, but it's all right.

The first stage of the wings; cut out orange and teal wing shape and sewed the bottom edges together.
These skins were only distributed online via the Global Link, which will be upgraded to work only with the new 'X' & 'Y' very soon. So please choose a skin that you like the most before it's too late!
Don't be late!
I bought 2 of the 30$ surprise boxes. Which if i'm being honest the 3 items inside it weren't worth it very much. I did like it tho. The pika socks and the charizard hat are both awesome.

#078 Rapidash. Probably one of the most amazing fire type Pokémon in the game!

My Pokémon Safari is a set dedicated to me searching for all the wonderful Pokémon from my childhood as I design posters from the 1st Generation Pokémon.
Despite its species being the "Spikes Pokémon," and it being part Ground-type, Rhyhorn cannot learn the move Spikes.
Since they are included in the Sinnoh Pokédex in Platinum, Rhyhorn and Rhydon have appeared in every Japan-centric Regional Pokédex.
Rhyhorn's Generation IV Pokédex entries state that its tackles can topple buildings. However, Rhyhorn cannot learn Tackle via any means.
In the games, Rhyhorn has the exact same cry as Charizard.
Rhyhorn and its evolutionary relatives are the only Rock/Ground Pokémon to have Rock as their secondary type instead of their primary.
Its design appears to be inspired by an Indian rhinoceros, with similar plated armor, and an Uintatherium from whom it may have taken its flat head and horn, with elements of a triceratops.
Rhyhorn may be a combination of rhinoceros and horn. Its name may also allude to the igneous rock called rhyolite, which explains its types.
