I'm still waiting on a few pieces to finish him. I sneakily hid those blank spots on the other side. This will be finished just in time for me to take it to Brickworld, Chicago.
This is one of my strongest models. The tension and compression allow it to be carried by the tail or neck without breaking.

Been looking for this one for quite some time. It ended up being really difficult for retailers to replenish their inventory because Nintendo's production of these things really suck. At this point, I'm not even the slightest tempted to open this little fucker. Why did I even bother getting one? At some point, it felt like I was chasing rainbows, looking for this thing. After quitting my search, I had ended up fortuitously stumbling upon one. I had ended up getting it just to have it.

I'm not gonna lie, I did kinda use Ethan's base design for this guy. But I started on him in like November and didn't finish him till now, so that's back when I was copying. I just wanted finish him up. Took a week to paint him orange, and I glossed him
Folded from VOG crumpled paper, 60x60 cm. Finished model has a wingspan of about 33 cm and is about 11 cm tall at the head.
Series One - Kanto.
My three month-long (say what?) Lego project is finally completed.
Introducing the three starters: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, in mecha form.
These giant mechs (which has Pokemon trainers or pilots controling them) engage in large-scale Pokemon battles known as Poke-mecha.
Building three large-scale Pokemon at once is a massive undertaking (which explains why I haven't posted anything in a while), especially if I'm inexperienced in building mecha (although I think I did a good job on my first try :D )
I'm thinking of making more of the Kanto series before moving on to the recent Pokemon (like a Metagross, maybe?)

This time round i felt a base is necessary to bring out the dynamic posing this moc can do. By it self the moc is able to stand even without the stand :D Since this is my own moc i am taking my own liberties on it by taking aspects of both pokemon and fashioning it into something of my own ^^

It's such a craze that you see them no matter where you go. Yesterday at the beach they popped up all over. Evidently Pokemons love Laguna Beach as much as the rest of us.
The two women in the middle photo actually ran screaming off the boardwalk onto the beach to catch whatever they caught!

This is another commission for Artifex Creation. It is the main enemy in Lego's Ninjago cartoon (as far as I know). And it's another wyvern.
This uses my Charizard's structure as a base but it's changed to be more flexible. Also I believe the feet are a completely new way to make simple and accurate dino feet.
