The Daisy Chain Necklace is a fine sterling silver curb chain strung with seven mobius flowers. In traditional chain maille, the mobius flower is made up of three rings woven through the centers of each other to achieve the look of a mobius, or endless spiral. Each flower is a “daisy” created from two sterling silver and one gold-fill ring. The rings are 7mm in diameter (just over 1/4-inch). The seven daisies together are just under 3/4-inch wide on the chain, and the chain is 18 inches long.

Workers from the council felling a big spruce tree in Västerhaninge. This is a walkway from the railway bridge down to the commuter station in Västerhaninge. They have been cutting down trees here for two days. I met a woman here who started to cry when she saw (no pun intended) what was going on.

This gold chain is called "Koththamalli Maalai". It literally translates "Chain of Corriander". The name derived as it looks like "Koththamalli" or Corriander. This chain is very popular among the Jaffna Tamil women, and handed over to the next generation by the older generation. It's either worn alone or with "Pathakkam". A longer version of this chain is worn along with a "Pathakkam" for occasions.
