I've just enjoyed a lovely afternoon with a friend who I hadn't seen for ages. We had a lovely catchup and she'd also found this smart dress for me. Such a joy to get out at last and have a relaxing girly afternoon.

Photos taken in September of 2015 on a week long Alaska cruise on the Celebrity Solstice. I'm still playing catchup on processing pictures, more on the way.
We managed to get out to the Dec BNO at Pink Punters last month. We hadn't been there for a year, so it was nice to catchup with old friends. 🌈
Sparrows and Hawks are always difficult for me to i.d., but I'm pretty sure this is a Tree Sparrow (my first one).
The sun is finally out, and so am I...catchup with you later...have a good one!

Yesterday was lovely so we went out for a walk along our favourite local walk here.
Sorry I’ve not had much time lately for flickr - I might start making this a weekend thing - catchup time today :^)

A gentleman from Langlees out for his evening stroll, he made it to a nice spot along the river to sit and have a bit to eat and a chill out so I got a little catchup and a pic, seems this is his coping mechanism as he isn’t handling the isolation to well.

Thanks to John Armytage for organising a very cool catchup with some other photogs this morning (all 21). Was great to meet everyone and enjoy a lovely breakfast.
Just a quick post from one of the shots. Went for a more desaturated feel due to a lack of colour.
Thanks for looking.
This could easily fit for this weeks Soft Lighting but it's a catchup shot. I celebrated my 50th birthday yesterday so it's begging to be used for the Celebrate theme.
Whilst Sam was out seeing some old uni friends of hers in drab mode for a lads catchup lunch in Bath, I was luckily enough to have Hills do an impromptu pic shoot. 📷
He's fab photographer, shame about the model! 😉
I think I mentioned a wee while ago that our friend Hills set up a photoshoot and dressing service a few years ago called the thegirlinside.co.uk
If you are the UK and ever fancy treating yourself you should check him out, he’s brill especially when it comes to prosecco! 😅

Soo I had a busy week and really didn't get to take a photo until today (Friday)... in which I will upload later. The only reason I decide to go into archives and upload a photo for each day is because I want to finish on the day I started... December 11. It'll be my four year anniversary that day with Steve, so because it's a special day I wanted to begin and end the project then... yeah yeah, cheat shmeat whatever. Thus far, I've improved (check the beginning of my stream, and even this project!!) soo that's all that matters to me.
I'm wafflin. It's late.
Day .266.

Will be a slow catchup and will be away until Wednesday. Take care and enjoy the weekend.
Although long known to the aborigines, who passed by it on their migrations from the coast to the Highlands, the falls were 'discovered' in the 1820s by Charles Throsby, pioneer settler of Bong Bong, whose property extended as far as the falls itself.
Its spectacular beauty made it a favourite place for the Throsbys to bring their many guests on picnics. One of these, NSW Governor Fitzroy, visited in 1850 and in typically modest manner named the falls after himself.
Do view large
Twelve years later, when the area was surveyed, they were still referred to as 'Throsby's waterfall', but the name Fitzroy was to win out.
The falls lie in the path of the Yarrunga Creek, which drops over 80 metres down the escarpment, and flows on into the Kangaroo River. The water flow is not as massive, nor as irregular, as in the past due to a water catchment dam further upstream today. The falls have only be known to dry up once in living memory.
Long recognised for its natural beauty, 4000 acres was set aside as a reserve in 1882, and later attempts to 'develop' the area were thwarted by Highlands residents.
A boardwalk leads alongside the creek and through restored native bushland to a lookout at the top of the falls (about 100 metres). Disabled Access.
The views from here are spectacular (see below); you can see down the cliff along the falls, and out towards Kangaroo Valley.
I have so much to scan and process.

I am a bit lagging behind on flickr, pretty busy with work last few days. I absolutely love what I do, and the work was pretty interesting, I was just totally absorbed in it! Took the shots but didn't get chance to upload!! So, posting them today.
Hopefully I will catchup with your streams pretty soon. Thanks for visiting my photo stream :))

I never finished The Alphabet Challenge last year in the One Photo Each Day Group, so decided to finish it off.
We're going from Z to A. I've also got to find a K at some point, as the photo I took wasn't great and didn't get uploaded.

Leica M9 + Leica Summilux ASPH 50mm f1.4 @ f1.4
Great to catchup with friend and model Agnieszka again while I was in Poland :) Daylight only
I never understand the complaints about the Leica M9 colours. i rarely ever use filters and never use plug ins or Photoshop actions. I may boost or desaturate the colours and correct white balance but that is about it.
Looking forward to the film photos from this shoot using the Leica M3 and Leica M2 :) Will be interesting to see how the Kodak Portra colours look as a comparison. I shot the Portra 400 film 1 - 1.5 stops over exposed so should be quite subtle colours.

I love Kelly's expression in this shot...she seems to be saying..."mess with me and I'll turn you into a frog!"lol. It was a fun night! I'm still playing catchup and entertaining company so will be around to see your photos soon!
My entry for the Monthly Scavenger Hunt category "En Masse".
Only one upload from me today as I’m struggling with a hefty dose of man-flu.
Wish me luck as there’s nothing worse!
I’ll catchup with y’all in a couple of days……………..
