Over rated: Curry Wurst is a near holy food in Berlin. It is a grilled hot dog with catchup flavored with curry.
A nice field of wheat being harvested near the end of August. On days like this, the combine can sail through the crop and the trailer driver as trouble keeping up. A ingle frame handheld at f11.0 for this shot.
I really had good intentions of posting some other shots that are backlogged...however the light was tremendous this evening and just had to put a few up to show the beautiful area. I have a ton to catchup on. I want to archive these Mule Deer shots...Please don't feel compelled to comment...Have been traveling and working so...I really appreciate your visits and comments!

Playing catchup, 12 new ones having taken a few shots in January and uploaded very little - until now.
Some good snow and mist conditions on Hamsfell. The Bay is seen in the top right of the photograph.
Flowers of hellebores are a welcome sight when they bloom in late winter to early spring, this was taken at the flower show last week.
Note, because of the blizzard we might be without power and internet, will try to catchup when I can.

Scanning catchup finally completed. Negatives have been gathering dust! North Yorkshire as seen by my Soviet 1950's Moskva 2 folding medium format camera monstrosity. Negs are 6x9cm scanned using xsane software in Linux. Involved DIY kitchen sink witchcraft developing shenanigans. Used Czech Fomapan B&W 100 film developed in exhausted chemicals! These are unedited scans as from 2480 Epson Scanner. Not bad for a beat up 1950's worn out camera. Will get them off my doorstop computer asap to a mobile android device for some proper editing as snapseed is for me really the only proper photo editor of any use nowadays. Everything else is so complicated!

Had to post one more of my beautiful sister. We're getting ready to go home today. We had a wonderful visit. Sorry for not visiting streams but I promise to play major catchup when we get home.
I was out enjoying a botanical walk whilst Melanie was having a mums catchup and breakfast. One of her friends got a message that her husband had got into difficulties whilst out on a run. I was informed with such sad news, he collapsed and went into cardiac arrest, a first aider did so well and when the air ambulance arrived the paramedics managed to defib him back into a viable rhythm. He remains sedated and on a ventilator and time will tell what kind of recovery he will make. It is so unfair, he belongs to a running club, fit and full of zest, a family man who's daughter was coming back that day from Thailand after an extended trip. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. Tragically this is our third friend who have collapsed whilst out running, it's all so very sad....

Still playing catchup after some recent flooding in the area, 6BM4 is running about 13hrs behind schedule as it passes the Winton Wetlands just north of Benalla.
Playing catchup with both my 52 week challenges at the moment, this one is for Definitely Dreaming Week 36 theme of "In the Mirror".
I tried some of the phone in the bathroom mirror selfies, but wan't happy with them so brought in the big camera on a tripod, a black backdrop and my video light to create this one "in the mirror". Not sure I like it either, but am all out of ideas for this one. The Eye AF on the mirrorless sure helps though.

I have seen this old building many times, and I just love it because of the old car parked by it under the little shed. The leaves framed it well. It is located in Tannehill State Park, Alabama.
