Catchup again, still no Internet :(

Playing catchup on a lot of things, again. Fiftytwo is one of them, and the handful of podcasts I subscribe to is another. So here I am, relaxing with a little something I downloaded earlier.
Did some balancing of natural light and strobe here. Windows to camera left a couple of feet from me, Pentax AF500FTZ to camera right about 5.5 feet from me at 1/32 power, snooted and aimed at my head. Used the ambient daylight for fill, exposed 3 stops (or was it 2?) darker than normal.
Actually taken on 3rd September. We have quite a bit of bike parking at work but sometimes it is taken up by annoying bad car parking, as seen in the photo here (no way to squeeze a bike behind that van). Today it happened again, with a different van, but luckily the chap was still behind the wheel and was happy to move when asked - the best outcome in many ways, as it will have highlighted to him the fact that he does have to think about his parking placement another time.

this multi-coloured ride in Edinburgh goes up some ridiculous height but did not test it as reports are 'bits' have been falling off!
