Aperol Spritz is a famous Italian aperitif cocktail made using the '3-2-1' recipe: that's just three parts prosecco, two parts Aperol and one part soda water. For the perfect Aperol Spritz recipe, add everything to a glass of ice with a slice of orange. Bellissimo!

This was shot about five damn minutes after I shaved and it looks like I went all day without shavin'. Crazy!
Catching up with friends was just like lunch times. You realise how much you miss those friends and you can see how far God has brought you from school!

More flickr catchup - a swap scarf for Chawne. The stitch pattern is from a Japanese stitch dictionary, very lightly modified to make the rib and reverse stockinette sections the same height.
I knit this with Cascade 220 Superwash which exceeded my expectations, becoming extremely soft and drapey after blocking. Yay!

Whenever we go to Montezuma NWR near Waterloo, we stop for breakfast at the ridiculously cow oriented Magee Country Diner. There are literally thousands of cows in every format you can think of in every part of the diner.
These are just some "scenes" at the booth in back of me and the wall in front of our booth. Sorry the wall pictures isn't better. I should have used a flash as the light was very poor. You get the idea anyway.
The cow in the first picture appears to be lusting for the catchup!
Sketching from Zoom . once a month or two some UK and AUS sketching friends have a zoom catch up. We talk and do our art, Caturing the likeness of a person is difficult , that essence that makes them "them". It is a skill that needs needs practice practice practice
Liverpool to Dolgarrog where Michael tries SURFING after learning of the Aluminium Smelting Plant, programme started with the history of Liverpool Cathedral, out to Maghul for the history of Meccano and Hornby, called in on Gwrych Castle in Abergele for guided tour of remains of Castle with Marc Baker setting up a Trust to restore parts of the Castle left in Ruins, a major ongoing project.
