Comments and more importantly Criticisms always welcome.
It was strange seeing Rossi struggle to come to terms with the new circuit, but there he was, way back in second. The new yamaha livery is really bad ass though.
I work at a mini lab in the UK and I have finally cracked the mystery of the "crappy resolution CD scan". These are the maximum resolution scans from the Fujifilm SP-1500 (That almost every mini-lab in the UK uses).
If anyone wants to know how to get HD scans drop us a message,

In Early April 2008, a whole group of us old friends from Cape Town, UK and round about, met up for a great time together in Sydney.
We are not machines. It is hard nowadays. In the fast-paced landscape of modern life, contemplating profound questions can be a challenge. Time flies, information races, and opportunities swiftly pass us by, urging us to constantly play catch-up, striving to stay ahead. But sometimes we need a moment to think, to breathe, to relax. Yet, there are moments when we must pause, reflect, and find solace in stillness. Today is such a day. Today, let us cease scrolling, halt our relentless pursuit, and immerse ourselves in introspection. Today, let us delve into the depths of our memories, ponder the meaning of our lives, appreciate what you have and what you have had. Slow down and breath. We are part of nature; we need to be patient and trust our process.

Playing catchup after being away for a few days, being ill and work being crazy busy so I will come back and fill in descriptions another day

I'm playing catchup. I took this photo 2 weeks ago and forgot about it. In fact, there are some photos I took late last month in Midwood that I need to look at and upload.
This sign is obviously more than 50 years old. Could be 80 years old. I suppose only an expert on the history of the oil companies or street advertising would know.
My dear friend Ling was in town for business over the weekend, so we made sure to set some time aside for an overdue catchup.
Whilst at The Grounds of Alexandria we noticed a local jeweler - that works under the name of Recreational Studio - selling her latest, greatest creations. Intrigued and always willing to support local talented creatives, we went over to check out her collection.
Immediately, I noticed the necklace/pendant combo above. I made a brief comment about it, thought nothing further of it because, by that stage, I was hungry as all hell, waiting for our table buzzer to go off (The Grounds is a popular place). Anyway, I continued looking through her vast array of carefully crafted designs and struck up a lighthearted conversation.
Then, after bantering with the lovely artist for a while, Ling decided to follow through with a selection of handpicked items for himself. Without noticing, the headphones-necklace had been wrapped up as well, after which my longtime friend presented me with the gift, accompanied by an expression that read, "just because that's what friends do sometimes."
It's at a time like this - amongst other pivotal moments - when I'm reminded I've got awesome friends with huge hearts. Thanks for the thoughtful gift that speaks a thousand words, Ling. Cheers, buddy.

Trying to play catch up after being out of town is always overwhelming. I have never seen this little comment on my mug before. As soon as I read it I took a picture and then went and read books to my girls instead of catching up on e-mail. It was worth it.
A lovely catchup with my German twin and then the handsome-and-talented husband joined us after his arrival in Berlin :)
