My Monday’s typically consist of two things: playing catchup and planning for the week ahead. Today at work I am catching up on a little reading. After graduating from NC State with degrees in Public Relations and Marketing and a stint working for Wake County, I transitioned into my family business AND a new field- human resources (hence all of the reading)! Glover Construction Co., Inc. was started by my grandfather in the late 1950s and has evolved over the years into a heavy, civil, general and specialty contracting firm with an emphasis in grading and mass excavation. There are currently three generations (including my grandfather who still serves as our President and is very active in day-to-day operations at 83 years old) of our family working alongside each other to complete projects located from Maryland to Florida, with quite currently underway in NC. A couple of our major projects in the Triangle over the years have been the US64 Bypass around Knightdale and the development of the general aviation area and taxiway extension at @flyrdu. A nurse waits for families to arrive at a "routine" immunization session - which should be offered regularly in communities. The routine system offers all childhood vaccinations and usually tetanus for pregnant woman. It's the backbone of child and maternal immunization programs.

so much has happened since we last saw each other! Another fiddy broke apart (srsly), I bought a camera bag (cough . . . overdue . . . cough), I had my first Mr. Softie, I saw the new exhibit at the sculpture garden at the Met, and I got drunk with friends. A full day, if you ask me.

Forgive my catchup, I am trying to stay on top of this! This week Annie opens and between the show and work, the days are long and I am getting behind on other things. It's all good though, having a blast singing and being a part of show, which is just fantastic btw, anyway this has nothing to do with the subject, sorry again! This is diecast which I don't have much of, I prefer to build from kits, but I saw this at a yard sale and I picked it up, every large (small) car collection needs a tow truck right? Have a great week everyone, hope to have more interesting photos as the week progresses. Full dress rehearsal tomorrow night, thursday night, open Friday and then again on Saturday! My heart is so happy singing with this group, full band, huge cast including the orphans who just warm my heart, they are great!

Everyone that participates in the Artistamp ATC swaps each month receive an Ultra Pro collector card sheet (shown) full of the month's swap submissions. All participants will also be included in the Artistamp ATC BOOK at the end of the year that I have printed professionally; all artists will have their own feature section with a bio.
