Doesn't she have a great smile?

i drew this yesterday.
i don't know why, but i just did.
Whilst we were up in the Northeast, back in August 2018, I had a day to myself and so I headed off, armed with my photo-kit and "Bucket List". First stop was Middlesborough, for a trip across the Tees on the Transporter Bridge, something that I had been wanting to do for a very long time! I parked on the North back and made the return trip as a pedestrian but it was still great fun!

First opportunity for some Imogen time in almost two months. Had an enjoyable night with a group of friends last night. We actually had after-hours access to a thrift store/opp-shop, where we sat and chatted over a glass of wine & nibbles. Needless to say I took some time to browse the store (which we had to ourselves) and bought a brand new pair of nude patent flats, a pair of all-leather boots and a SPECTACULARLY pretty LBD. All in all a lovely night!

Day Twenty-Six of the December Diary 2011 Project This years Theme... 'MUSIC' %-)
With only FIVE days left of the December Diary... and tomorrow being allocated to my Annual Catchup with my dear friends Toni & Bruce. I've saved my FOUR biggest faves for last... Starting with Led Zeppelin
Without a doubt... they were my FAVOURITE band in my teenage years... and still remain one of them!
The first album I remember buying of theirs was "In Through the Outdoor" - which came out in 1979 when I was 13. (That photo above is of me @ 15 in my Led Zep t-shirt that I wore religiously! LOL!) %-)
All Of My Love was the hit single. I LOVED it... and just LOVED that album - thrashed it religiously. Gosh does it bring back memories! Fool in the Rain was another fave from it... Hot Dog too! %-)
My Brother.. who is 10 years older than me was also a big fan of theirs... in fact I was to discover when I was a bit older that he actually got to see them in concert! He is a fabulous guitarist himself, (influenced by the likes of Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Jimi Hendrix and many other guitar greats from that era). He was in a few bands back in those day too. He did that fabulous pen drawing there in the middle. It's a copy of 'The Hermit' fro the inside sleeve of the 'Led Zeppelin IV' album, and is on Mum's lounge wall.
I just love SO MANY of their songs.... that it's almost impossible to pick out just a few. I guess I could say..... go watch the movie "The Song Remains The Same" - which came out in 1976. It gives you a bit of everything... Music... great visuals... and a bit of an insight into the lives all four members- Robert Plant. Jimmy Page John Bonham and John Paul Jones. I don't know HOW many times I saw it when I was young... and now have it on DVD.. so can watch it whenever I'm in the Mood. %-)
I can't speak highly enough of this band...
And always get great enjoyment whenever I listen to them again! %-)
Stairway To Heaven (Couldn't leave this one out!) %-)

LARGE is better
I've been away for a while and have some real catchup to do on many streams this week. I was in Tokyo for a short break and I have been very busy at work for a couple of weeks. I am charging my batteries to go out shooting again soon...it has been too long...
I've written it before: the favorite past time in Hong Kong is shopping. You can do so 24/7. I took this picture in one of Hong Kong's many shopping malls while watching people go by and do their things....It is great fun to watch people and play with the many lines and reflections the eye can catch....

A well-needed catchup with some of my closest friends at one of our hangouts for a spot of brunch and Prosecco. Yotam Ottolenghi's NOPI restaurant on Warwick Street holds some precious memories for us! We were making toasts and clinking glasses by noon – because it's never too early to use an ice bucket – that's how we roll.

Made a trip to London over the weekend to catchup with a friend, but also do trains and do some photography that I would not normally be able to do.
Having brought in the empty Caledonian Sleeper stock to form the 1S25 'Highland Sleeper' service, Caledonian Sleeper/GB Railfreight 92018, is seen in London Euston Platform One. From here, it was being prepared from dead, then eventually moved to go on top of the empty 'Lowland Sleeper' 1S26 stock.

Still playing catchup.
Probably one of my favourite sets I've shot this year. First time shooting e100gx slides as well and again, I love the look and colour that slides are able to provide.
Light was perfect that day, I remember we walked to the top of a parking garage to chase it and spent a couple of hours shooting around...so long in fact that by the time the light was dying and we realized we were starving, the Jamaican patty place in Kensington had already closed...
(Still playing catchup!)
This is practically a repeat from my 2012 Week 30/52 photo (with a few minor differences). Obviously Lain is a few years older in this capture... ;)
(Set my camera to 3 shot Multiple Exposure mode ).
I am playing catchup here on Flickr. We went to New Mexico so I could attend a wonderful sewing and crafting retreat. It was such a treat to spend four days with supportive like minded women making things. My hubby went along and hiked and explored while I was busy crafting every day. We worked on everything from embroidery to tin to painting. All folk art type things. It was cold there but beautiful! Irish Barbie came along on the trip but I only took this photo of her. Too busy.
Every fortnight I host the Ganfam dinner. I cook my heart out, then snap my ever growing family of grandchildren. I love this pic cousins cooing over newcomer all of 2 weeks young. Taken in the early evening today with the sun slowly peeping thru the pergola.
