Awesome catchup #2 of the week, also very overdue and well-needed, started out looking like this. Not pictured? Crazy runny nose and gross-looking eyes from being so close to these SUPER duper pollen-y flowers on the bus. My body is apparently still in winter-mode?

The Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad is seen dropping off some cars at the Catchup Logistics warehouse in South Greensburg. This is the first time I've been able to see them doing this move.

That's convenient, you can catch up by squeezing the bottle!

No posts yesterday and playing catchup. The power went out and was out for 12 hrs and it also takes the heat and well. Internet did not recover till sometime around midnight. Fireplace was a decent standin and barbecue grilled coffe is to die for or from, not sure where I stand on that yet! We got 4 inches of snow topped by freezing rain creating this interesting ice creature on the flagpole. A lot of the pines in the area were unable to withstand the weight of 4 inches of snow topped by freezing rain and then wind gusts. News said there were a quarter million people in the area without power. As of this morning some still don't have power and black ice abounds.

Okay, here is the first batch of my 365 catchup photos. I have so many to catch up on, because of my time away.

This is Day 234.

I named it Far From Reality because this portion of my vacation was so far from my normal life. We spent a week at a place where I had no computer, no phone, no cars (we biked everywhere), etc.

If I wanted to do laundry, I had to hop on my bike and ride for 5 minutes to the laundry.

If I wanted something to do in the evening, I read my book, did a puzzle, chatted with someone, or went to see a concert/show (the best show was Bill Cosby - awesome!).

On this particular day, we went to an Amish house for a wonderful dinner.

It was a great, unplugged, relaxing experience.

Last year, during my first year of full time art, I really struggled to keep up the personal sketching and journalling in my book. I was very busy but as it was all art related I didn't feel the need to do something in my book to keep my creative jumps pumping - and I really stopped trying to record the narrative of my life in the same way I did previously.

This year I am making more of an effort to work on my art and record my life in my book.

Keeping up with the scanning and posting is more the struggle....

Playing catchup with a nice few months of backlog to upload.

Locomotive Services Limited 90002 'Wolf of Badenoch' is seen on the blocks at Manchester Piccadilly, having worked the 1Z41 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly 'The Friday Charter' (myself being onboard from Crewe).

Was great to see these running and to again recreate a scene from the 90's!

Kanta lives underneath a bridge on the Kamo river. Most cats in Japan are shy of strangers, but Kanta is friendly with everyone and has a following of regular visitors who provide food and love.

Photographed during the second week of 2012, but developed, scanned, and uploaded today.

Off to the cinema with mike catchup later xx
