The crew just got done delivering 4 loads to the UP to my right. The catch and grab game goes on with 2 crews and trolleys to push and pull their way thru the day to spot customers.

I finally got a usable photo of the barn swallow (Hirundo rustica) in flight as well during 2022.

They are hard to catch in their quick flight for insects above the water. I finally found a spot where it was pretty easy to follow their route for a good result.

Bad Memory 2008

Leaving the loop: once PN Hotshot 4MP7 was clear, it was headlight on and time for AK82 to depart the silo-less Long Plains. It was time to get the drone airborne again and catch S303 and GM10 as they both emit puffs of blue as they power up: Nov 30, 2022

One of our local Eagles was quite close to me, standing on a large rock in the water to eat the fish he had just caught. Crows were hovering nearby, no doubt hoping to get some left overs. He seemed to be giving them the real 'Eagle Eye'!

this is a charm i bought in Hong Kong in the summer of 2009

it's known to bring the person luck when they bring this with them. I've always found these so precious. I've given them to a few friends before. It's such a simple gift, yet the meaning behind it is so profound! I love the simplicity of this charm soooo much and if any of you remember, i've actually shown it to you guys in my "What's In Your Pencilcase" shot that ended up being all over tumblr haha. But yeah, if someone gave something as simple as this to me, i'd love it! <3

Barred Owl with a catch on a cold winter morning. As I stood well back watching from a distance it was interesting how cautious the owl was constantly looking side to side and behind as it slowly consumed the meal.
