Eso pensó mi sobrino ayer cuando la luz entró por la ventana y reflejando en un pisapapeles que tengo de cristal, hizo que el Arco-iris, quedará reflejado en la pared.
Nos íbamos al parque en ese momento y cuando lo vio quiso cogerlo con su mano y lo tocaba con todos y cada uno de sus dedos, primero a mano abierta y luego con calma iba pasando sus dedos por el, de dedo, en dedo, esperando que los colores se quedaran en el pegados, supongo, mientras miraba a la ventana y se preguntaba por donde entraban los colores, que solo se veían en la pared..
Y como es...Tan listo como su tía (jajjjaaa) Dijo: "Tía ya lo descubrí, los colores salen de la planta del arco-iris...Es mágica"

Me encantó su expresión y como se que es tan pesado como yo, supe que mientras pensaba de donde venían los colores y lo descubría, me daría tiempo a coger la cámara, que no el arco-iris y hacerle unas fotos...

El titulo viene de una de mis canciones favoritas y del mejor cantante del mundo al que tuve la suerte de conocer en persona y con quien tuve el placer de estar un ratín, tras uno de sus conciertos... El ya falleció, una pena... pero su música quedará siempre... eso jamás muere.
Captured at Lake Almaden, SJ, CA. I found a dragonfly resting on the tip of a leaf. I was able to get real close and took a few shots. But during the shoot, I noticed that it kept leaving and coming back to the same spot. Further observation found that it was leaving to catch food and returning to eat it. This went on for over an hour. Gave me ample time & tries to capture it's landing on returns. I don't know the species. Anyone know? Update, someone gave me a lead on the species. After some more research, Variegated Meadowhawk looks like a good match.

Finally getting back to the Gym after a lengthy absence.
Fortunately, I still have my “work-out” soundtrack on my phone, and Donovan sang “Catch the Wind” while I was working the machines... and thinking about a title for this Pic.
"Catch the Wind" is a song written and recorded by Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. "Catch the Wind" was released in 1965. The single reached No. 4 in the United Kingdom singles chart.

The Sandhill Crane:
These tall, gray-bodied, crimson-capped birds breed in open wetlands, fields, and prairies across North America. They group together in great numbers, filling the air with distinctive rolling cries. Mates display to each other with exuberant dances that retain a gangly grace.
The Sandhill Crane’s call is a loud, rolling, trumpeting sound whose unique tone is a product of anatomy: Sandhill Cranes have long tracheas (windpipes) that coil into the sternum and help the sound develop a lower pitch and harmonics that add richness.
Sandhill Cranes are known for their dancing skills. Courting cranes stretch their wings, pump their heads, bow, and leap into the air in a graceful and energetic dance.
Although some start breeding at two years of age, Sandhill Cranes may reach the age of seven before breeding. They mate for life—which can mean two decades or more—and stay with their mates year-round. Juveniles stick close by their parents for 9 or 10 months after hatching.
The earliest Sandhill Crane fossil, estimated to be 2.5 million years old, was unearthed in Florida.
Sandhill Crane chicks can leave the nest within 8 hours of hatching, and are even capable of swimming.
The oldest Sandhill Crane on record was at least 37 years, 3 months old. Originally banded in Florida in 1982, it was found in Wisconsin in 2019.
