Canada Day long weekend at Lisa's family's cabin at Buffalo Lake.

This kitesurfer was travelling up and down the lake. I wish I would have caught him doing one of his jumps that took him, easily, 8 or 10 feet out of the water.

This is my photo for a game of Photo Catch I'm playing with my friend Darek (aka blankspace321) . We each take turns adding something to a photo until we can add no more. To see how this photo started: CLICK HERE!

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. Or like Steven Wright says: There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. Two guys fishing this afternoon at Lake Rudan in Handen.

Love is the hardest thing in the world to write about. So simple. You've got to catch it through details, like the early morning sunlight hitting the gray tin of the rain spout in front of her house. The ringing of a telephone that sounds like Beethoven's "Pastoral." A letter scribbled on her office stationery that you carry around in your pocket because it smells of all the lilacs in Ohio.

The Day With Goats is happening now! Yellowstone Nature Connection and Lily Roach's Goats were a big hit at Little Geyers Daycare Center.

Before we lost the frisbee. She's getting to be a pretty formidable frisbee player, she can catch on the fly, she's so much faster than any human over the ground and boy, once she's got hold of it you won't get it back!!

This Snowy Egret (Egretta thula) was fishing near the public boat ramp in Ventura Harbor. It caught a fish that was a little to big to handle and had to let it go.
