These two were a GP35 built 4/64, retired 7/80 and a GP30 built 5/63, retired 11/91.
This series of photos were all taken in Proviso Yards during the Summer of 1966 while I was working off the Extra Board as a switchman. The Proviso engine terminal is in the town of Melrose Park, Illinois. Different parts of the yards are in different Chicago suburbs.
