Last day！五天的黑白照片對我而言，每一天選張照片，然後仔細的調著只有黑與白的世界，很簡單卻也很困難，黑白照片始終有種魔力，彷彿把時間暫停的感覺，雖然有些人還是不喜歡黑白照，覺得太死氣沉沉般毫無起色，但或許也是這樣的照片會更讓人專注在顏色以外的事情，一張照片的『本質』與『精神』。
最後一天挑選的人...其實我也不確定到底會不會連ＰＯ五天照片（哈哈）總之就先邀請妳了！只是個遊戲，不要太在意拉！指定者鄒采潔，Join us！！

Day 4 of the daily B&W challenge. Today: Remembrance Day
The B&W Challenge, is like a chain letter with cameras. Participants are required to *capture and post* five black and white pictures over five days and, with each posting, nominate another person to do the same. Notice the *capture and post* bit. That means exposing the image on the day you sharet it...no digging through your 100 TB hard drive and choosing your five best ever shots of the past decade. Get out there and take spontaneous pictures, damnit!!

7DOS Week #26: B&W Wednesday. Halfway Point. Is it half full or half empty?
I have been nominated by Bella Lisa to do the B&W challenge for 5 days - this is #1. My first nominee is Clint_Budd.
I thought that in doing this challenge, I would showcase some of the sights of our little village. If anyone is interested and wants to visit us, here is the link to the village website: www.south-kyme.co.uk/index.html
This shot is of The Slea Navigation memorial, erected on the bank of the river at the Eastern end of the village in 1994 by the Slea Navigation Trust to mark 200 years of navigation on the River Slea. The River Slea is an 18-mile long tributary of the River Witham, in Lincolnshire, England. In 1872 the river was described as "a never-ending source of pure water", and was a trout river renowned throughout the East coast of England. There are no trout in the lower reaches of the river today, but the river does have a good stock of coarse fish such as Pike, Perch, Roach and Bream. The river flowing through South Kyme is known as The Kyme Eau.
I am taking on a challenge to leave one of my cameras in BW mode for a week and see only BW through the lens and use light and shadows to make for interesting shots out of the camera. Level adjustments allowed for brightness and contrast.

I had them labeled incorrectly! These aren't lilacs. I guess when I was editing the photo, I just wrote that since they're bunched together like lilacs. Still a pretty flower and scent though :)
Day 1 of a 5-day B&W challenge. Taken at sunset. It was -25°C with the wind chill, but this moon was lovely over my neighbourhood.

Breaking the rules slightly here, but I couldn't resist adding a splash of colour to this one.
Two different people tagged me to do the Black & White Challenge. I will be posting seven different B&W images taken one a day last week.
It feels a bit chain letterish to me to challenge seven other people, so while I decided to have a go myself, I will not be naming other people to ask them to do the same. Feel free to join in though if you want to have a go.
