This leaf was literally covered in bugs, the majority fell off when I tipped it up for a picture. They seem to like this plant.

Trying out a friends 100mm macro lens. Found this little guy near a swampy area with lots of birds around.
Lighting info: One bare 430exII (handheld), camera left, sidelighting the grass and bug. Triggered with pocketwizard plus II's.
One hand held the camera, one hand held the flash. Not the easiest setup by any means, but it seemed to work out ok!

A Daisy in the grass in my garden. I didn't notice the bug until I had uploaded and checked the picture.
Spotted on our washing line, he was constantly turning around ensuring I got his good side.
Have seen many green shield bugs, but this is the first brown one.
I have no idea what this is but it was sitting on a metal picnic table at the park. He's listing because of a gimpy back leg. Poor bug.
This bug (and several of its mates) were on our Rosemary bush. I like the oily green colour, but have no idea what it is; any suggestions?
We aren't really sure what this bug is called, but we found it in the hay and it looks just like the hay that was around it! We've been studying entomology the past two weeks, so finding this mystery bug was exciting.
The bug was camped out on the face of the sunflower all day. Good thing, too-it took awhile to get the light around to him.
My mom made Addison this quilt in 2003. We wanted to make sure we got a good shot of it for her quilt album, and before he moved.
