Bed bugs are an epidemic plaguing our nation. For decades, bed bug infestations were uncommon. It has also been determined that a city with an international airport has a higher rate of infestations. Denver, Colorado is a prime example. bedbugexterminationdenver.com/

After pounding the chili peppers, garlic, bugs, coriander and green onions to make a paste, we got to taste our handiwork. The bugs had a kind of "sharp" taste, whereas the eggplant and tomato jeow had milder flavors.

OMG! I caught this thing hanging out on one of my couch pillows...it has to be one of the most creepy creatrues I have ever seen in my life!!! I don't think I have ever seen a bug this big in out house! Anyone have any guesses as to what it is?? I'd really like to know.

Wasn't this the creature from Cloverfield? ^_^

Yes, 99.9% of the bugs are in Rose's mind. Nice of her to kill them off though.

went out to get a closer look...

Feeling Lucky ;)

A Trio of Bug Eyed Monsters. They never miss anything that goes on around them and are always sure to win out in any staring contest!

Un nid d'insectes dans le sol de la forêt normande.

I wish I'd gotten a better close up. The backside of its wings seemed to be a blue or purple color, and if you zoom into the original image there's so much pattern detail in its antennae and limbs.

Probably Everes comyntas.

A custom order - all the bugs are hand sewn

Thanks to Janet, who texted to me "photo op," while she was trimming the roses in the front of our house, I was able to snap a few shots of this katydid. Whether kadydid or didn't was none of my business.

Used by Jones Soda for the American Root Beer bottle a couple years back. So technically I think this one 'belongs' to them now, but I love it so I put it up to view anyway. Photo taken in 2002

Bugs are pretty fascinating close up.

Lasius alienus, or cornfield ant, is a species of ant in the subfamily Formicinae (family Formicidae). Workers have a length of about 2–4 mm, Queens are larger (7–9 mm).

One of the largest and most outstandingly beautiful Dragonflies was resting so quietly on our fire pit this evening... as we got closer to examine him we realized he was dead. He measures almost 5 inches and has the most remarkable pattern of green brown and blue on him.

The reflection in his eyes looks so worrysome. Poor lil guy.

I bought radishes for potato salad and this cutie was in the leaves.

happen to see night-bugs craving for light ... so appealing !!

kinda friends. still not loving each other, but getting along better.

i gave them a bit of cat nip, which had Banjo lazing about in a new way and bug rolling around fighting his own tail...

This little guy has been eating my lemon leaves

I think it is an assassin bug but not very sure about it.

Unknown bug on fence post.

This lone ranger was in my back yard today. Is this a fire ant? If it is, should I be worried? I've never seen an ant like this before. It was pretty big too.

Will identify later.
