My enemy, the assasin bug will have to go - will cut weeds down, but will spray backyard for insects first.
Not sure what bug this is, but there's a bunch on our pomegranate tree, and only on the pomegranate tree.
Lovely bug in Aperture 1.5.6 on Leopard. Only appears on a few of my pictures, only in really blown highlights, and it may be related to the RAW files on my camera or computer hardware, but it still looks like a pretty obvious Aperture bug. RAW file looks fine in Preview and re-importing into Aperture causes the same problem. Aperture export to external editor (as TIFF) has the problem too.
Found in the backyard last June. I have no clue what kind of bug this is. It was a bit bigger than a large housefly and was not too concerned with the camera lens.
Fascinating watching this ladybug in the backyard, and this huge group of fat, swelled aphids swaying in the wind (sitting on a patch of milkweed I've kept growing for butterflies/etc.). The ladybug appeared to be methodically cleaning off sections of the infested milkweed, one aphid at a time...
A pic of an interesting bug that was sitting on an aloe vera like plant. I took this during my trip through south africa.
(46/365) Out and about with my girlfriend today, this fly/bee/whatever sat down right next to me and watched me take some pictures. I think he really was just an attention hog and wanted his own picture taken.
