Diman's transformed student-run restaurant, Room 251, kicked of the school year with a successful brunch buffet which included a carving station and made-to-order crepes.
They wouldn't let me take photos of the actual buffet line, so I just have these bad photos. Overall, not a bad buffet, but I don't think I can eat enough to make it worthwhile. I felt pretty gross at the end of the meal.
*A selection of block cheese, cubed cheeses, baked brie stuffed with walnut basil pesto and baked camembert stuffed with orange marmalade and toasted macadamia nuts
*Grilled vegetable display served with warm bagna cada dipping sauce
*Tomato, fresh mozzarella and chopped basil bruschetta served on garlic rubbed rustic bread

As is often the case for expats who have to work on Thursday, Thanksgiving for us was celebrated on Saturday this year. We were fortunate enough to be invited to two different homes at different times, so this was merely "Round 1" of a full day of eating. This family decided to invite a huge number of people this year, so they had an informal, all-afternoon buffet-style meal. This was a small subset of the food on offer.
