Many birds feed their young by providing partially digested food. The Cormorants are about the strangest. Glad we don’t have to feed our kids this way. 😎
This is where we celebrate our Mid-Autumn Festival, Watermark International Buffet restaurant at Glenelg! It is such a great buffet dinner and we truly enjoyed it!!! (only some people were upset because of something~~~). Anyway, it was a lovely night!!!

There were three eagles menacing this flock of America coots off shore of Penticton Beach. My first instinct for those coots is to get out of Dodge. There are plenty of other water sources in the area, why pick the one with a family of eagles. The eagles were at it every evening, like clockwork just after sunset - Doge City. This particular evening they came up empty despite many dives with talons down in amongst the flock. The coots were terrified the eagles coming at them from different directions.
Bird Buffet this little fellow cant decide, peanuts or seed so he took his time to do so, shot in North Carolina.
Chinese and Korean Buffet restaurant, late night, very rough freehand shot walking home from cinema.
After placing bird feeders in our back yard we've had several new species of birds arrive. Among them are American Goldfinch's. I've seen one (maybe two) in the past 23 years we've lived here but this year many have descended upon our abode. This male seems choosy in his food selection.
Since I can't travel because of the current pandemic I might as well take advantage of the opportunities that're right under my nose.
Korean Buffet restaurant below tenement flats on Dundee Street at night. Quick snap with the phone camera from opposite side of the road - I didn't expect it to work at all, but the bright lights illuminating the loud, orange sign made it worth a try. Not as sharp as the big camera on a tripod, but for a handheld with the phone it's better than I expected.

Shot on the same day as my previous post, another example the numerous insects who utilize Goldenrod. Did you see all of them? Are you sure?
Assuming that the flying blur is a bee, there are 3 bees, a Webworm Moth and a Monarch Butterfly, of course.
Wait! You also saw the ant, right?

Something fell on my head while walking under this tree. Saw the squirrel and thought it was something nasty. Then, noticed it was nibbling so knew it was a flake of acorn. Fortunate for all that as I then enjoyed a few minutes watching and taking pics.

It's Spring in Wisconsin and the alewives (small silvery fish) are running in large numbers at the mouth of the Sheboygan River. There are gulls and tern everywhere! Here at South Pier, vast numbers are resting before they once more approach nature's buffet table for an all-you-can-eat session.
I decided to set my camera to sepia mode for a change of pace on this otherwise overcast day.
spotted this long queue of people during a bicycle ride and stop to ask what it was for. i was informed of a special buffet breakfast, 8am to 10am only, served by this resto during weekday mornings for only USD1.50 per head. what a treat!
