I bought this one from Northern Tool $70 IIRC, + $6 shipping
Got it primarily for cleaning up straight razor blades and schales but it did come in handy the other day hitting the stainless steel thermometer and clip I use for keeping track of temps when frothing miljk
Left wheel has black emory buffing compound, right is green Chromium Oxide...and the wheels are 8" Eventually I'll purchase some 4"m wheels from Caswell Plating to slow the action down. At 3400 RPM's the 8" wheels turn a tad too fast for the kind of work I want to clean up..STR8 Razor blades, shanks, etc.
As you can see, this buffer is sitting on top of one of my work benches *without* being anchored. Thus far I find it unecessary to fasten it to this table top...the motor spins at a stealth rate...very smooth. If you're looking for an economical bench top buffer, look no further
Plants in the Playford Operations Centre nursery await sorting into multiple-species boxes on Boxing Up Day 2016.
Boxing Up Day is an annual event where local-native tubestock seedlings are assigned to a range of 'standard' mixed-species boxes for distribution to our Buffers to Bushland rural revegetation scheme.
This year 12,000 seedlings were sorted into these boxes.
Property owners participating in the scheme and regular volunteers from Playford Greening and Landcare assist with this task on the day.
This photo was taken to support my 2011 AALL Annual Meeting program on broadband Internet. This is a screenshot of buffering video. The video is from the FCC Open Comission Meeting on April 21st, 2010 posted on the FCC YouTube Channel.
A buffered bike lane with green pavement markings. And don't worry; the car was turning out of a driveway as it crossed through the buffer in this photo and soon ended up driving correctly in the motor vehicle lane.

Handing over the 200,000th seedling for the City of Playford's Buffers to Bushland rural revegetation program.
Playford Greening and Landcare Chairman Pauline Frost (right) delivers the box containing the two hundred thousandth local-native seedling to Humbug Scrub property owner Kathy McCullagh while Playford greening volunteers look on.
The Buffers to Bushland revegetation program supplies local-native seedlings to rural properties in the Playford council district, and began in 1999. Kathy has been a regular participant in the scheme since 2000.

A set of Buffers stand at the end of the short section of display track. This is the Melbourne (Up) end where the line would have kept going onto Warragul and then Melbourne so no Buffers would have been here in the past.

I watched a play at school with the kids this week called "Made in Sheffield". It was based around the Vulcan at the top of the Town Hall and the Buffer girl in the clock at Orchard Square. We had to pop into town today, so I thought I'd take my camera to try and capture them both. It has made me restart my Sheffield project.

Did a full 3 step cut and polish on a close friend's 1999 Honda Civic. This is the original 19 year old OEM paint that has seen little to no paint correction or major protection over the years. Managed to remove the majority of swirling, and defects in the paint only leaving behind the absolute deepest of scratches that unfortunately went through the clear coat and the paint.
