Brought my niece and nephew some bubble wands on a hot day - snapped a few big bubbles to get the reflections - this has given me an idea for a studio project- soon to be done!
This was the card I made for Stampin Sue for the Valentine card exchange organized by sweet Anita! I heard from Sue earlier in the week that she's received it and so I wanted to share a pic here.
Didn't I say everything in sight was getting stamped with that yummy envie pattern? Love it! The bunny and bubbles image is a CB embossing folder. I made a letterpress-type (debossed) effect by carefully inking the raised side of the folder, carefully putting in the paper, running it through my machine, and then carefully taking the paper out. Notice my emphasis on carefully: I don't think I'll admit to how very many tries it took for me to get a clean image! Ha! :)

Big thanks again to Anita for organizing this fun exchange! And TFL!

The sun came out this afternoon, so we took La teeny's giant bubble wand into the garden to make some bubbles.
I wanted to tribute a shot of Rach680's that I'd seen, without trying to recreate it. I love her photostream, although it makes me want to travel half way across the world and enjoy some sunshine!

If you want to know why the bubbles have formed in a band on my glass, read this post at Cambridge University's Naked Scientists Poscast web page.
I love the colors and bubbles in this. Nothing beats a nice long hot bubble bath. (Bubbles courtesy of Philosophy's Love scented bubble bath).
I've always LOVED bubbles, even now that I'm older I do, but don't have kids around real often, so I can get them and enjoy watching them play with them. Since I thought we might have two of our nieces visit us this summer, I got a couple things of bubbles and had them go out and play with them, so I could get some photos when they visited. I even managed to get a couple clear photos of a single bubble...you can see our house reflected in them. I snuck in a few swings with the bubble wand myself...shhhh don't tell, I guess I'm still a kid at heart. *giggle*
These photos show Jazmine &/or Trista playing with the bubbles. Trista loved to chase down the bubbles and pop them, by either swinging her wand at them, or stomping on them...I had to laugh when she did.
Mathematical madness! I started this from scratch making the background pattern then added some photos of my beautiful wife.
