The big bubbles are about 2mm, and the small ones are ..well.. smaller.. :P
I took this with my 50mm f/1.8, which I've modded. I put some kind of magnifying glass on it, so I can focus down to ~10cm from the object. (the magnifier glass was the outer glass of an old lens, so it fit perfectly on my 50mm, with some masking tape. :P)
I used some sprite in a regular glass. it works excellent, as it is transparent, and makes lots of small bubbles when you throw an icecube in. :P
I'm not sure what made the background color, but its probably a milk carton or something, the table was a bit messy.. :)
Mashed Potato, sprouts, carrots, mushy peas and runner beans mixed with a bit of beaten egg and baked in the oven....less fat than frying. Served with Wholemeal roll and salad with Brazil and Cashew nuts. A good way to use up leftovers.

Somehow I seem to end up with faces when I try to photograph bubbles. *LOL* What you're looking at here is bubbly and viscous hand sanitizer lotion poured into a glass beaker and placed on top of a light table, so lighting is actually from below. The picture was taken with the SuperMacro setting on the camera.

My top bubble sidekick Clover gets married! We couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a few bubbles. :-)
Lighting was great though I forgot to bring my own camera. Thanks to Mike Donlin for coming to the rescue
My beautiful five year old Grandaughter blowing bubbles. Some times it's the simple things in life that bring great joy.
Bubble tea is a fun drink at coffeehouses, and lots of coffee houses prepare it differently.
This particular variation is milk based, with black Tapioca ''bubbles'', served with colorful straws (which the bubbles freely travel up to the mouth in).
Fun flavors and colors, and can be served in either a to go cup you mix yourself, or in a glass (and you get to pick the straw).
