I think the light scattered from the little bubble does something weird like reflect back through the big bubble. Whatever it is, it looks like Christmas tree lights to me. You see it? On the main tree!
These lights remind me of Disney fairy dust. Does anyone remember the way magical fairy dust would sprinkle off of the fairy's wand? Maybe it was a Disney title sequence. Tinkerbell's fairy dust!
I've never grown too old enjoy bubbles, and I've never had the opportunity to shoot them before. Found this chap whilst on a walk down the River Thames. I love the colours and how some of the buildings are visible in the reflections! (If you look closely!)
I didn't do a very good job in capturing the ice bubbbles. I'm sure some of it is my skill level combined with the conditions I had to work with, but those who know the lake are saying that this is a bad year for bubbles. It was a very strange freeze this year.
The bubbles are caused by pockets of methane rising from the lake bottom.
Bubble Cherish-a-fied ! hahahaha Thanks for the coolio mirror effect.

CC Week 2: Bubbles
The temperature out was 41F/5C (cooler temps are best, I'm told). There was a breeze, so I moved to the leeward side of the house.
My recipe: 1 part shampoo, 2 parts water. Stir.
Make a circle with a zip tie. Dip and gently blow.
If you've seen the Pixar movie Finding Nemo, you might remember the very yellow fish obsessing over the bubbles escaping the treasure chest in his tank. That was Bubbles, a yellow tang (Zebrasoma flavescens), also known as the somber surgeounfish.
This specimen was a bit less hyper in its tank at the Haga Ocean butterfly house, but I was still pleasantly surprised at how sharp I managed to catch it in the not at all brightly lit aquarioum section.
Got this capture while blowing bubbles with my sister and brother-in-law at my Mom's house last week! When the dogs weren't popping them, we all got some pretty good shots. I love the colors of the rainbow in that bubble! I'm sure you will see more on my stream in the next little while. =)
incendia, thanks to freetooglow for all her support helping to get this fractal created and posted

Playing with my grandsons bubble mixture. It was fun blowing the bubbles, putting the mixture down then grabbing the camera before the bubbles popped or blew away!
