Had a top weekend with friends up from the South and BBQ's to cook! Went out to try and find some macro today but that wind was not our friend. So settled for taking pictures of my nephews blowing bubbles. Now where is that wine...
The Bubble Nebula in narrowband.
HA, Sll, and Olll. All exposures were 30 minutes each, with a total exposure time of 26 hours.
Combined in the Hubble palette.

My cold is back with a vengeance, so I didn't do much today. In a fit of boredom, I decided to play with a close-up lens.
Project 365 // Day 208
Today is one of those days where I pretty much waited until the last minute to shoot my entry for Project 365. While I was brainstorming something to shoot, I noticed that my wife had filled up the sink with water and soap to soak some dishes. I then noticed a very interesting pattern of bubbles building up, so I decided to have some fun with my camera and macro lens. :)

The Bubble Nebula, also known as NGC 7635, is an emission nebula located 8 000 light-years away. This stunning new image was observed by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope to celebrate its 26th year in space.

2014/03/03-246/365 Bubble 泡泡
這是洗衣粉的泡沫拍出來的畫面，
用吸管往泡沫水裡吹吹，
一個個透明清亮的泡泡不斷的冒出來，
一圈又一圈連成好大一個泡泡世界！
不過，泡泡消失的速度也超快，
所以拍的時候會覺得許多圈圈是模糊滴，
因為它正快速的消失不見中。。
加上閃燈及旁邊電視畫面，
泡泡呈現好多色彩，
但~有些亂！對吧！！
試了好幾張，覺得就讓它亂吧。。
因為我原本想拍大泡泡中的旋轉世界，
可是怎麼吹都不容易吹成大泡泡，
暫時先放棄。。以後再繼續玩！哈哈…^0^
Early morning lighted bubbles on stream in Seattle Chinese Garden, Seattle, Washington. Small white shapes immediately made me think of small white dogs riding bubbles downstream.
Played briefly this morning again trying to get a bubble to freeze...this was the first time that it has worked...not the sharpest but have tried this so many times without luck...so this is what I am going to stick with...LOL!
Some lucky kid — and us lucky Chicagoans — get to enjoy this guy's bubble show on the bridge. If I were the kid I would be running after them, but instead I am mesmerized and enjoying it.

What a fun "We're Here" day to play. Terrible time trying to figure out which bubbles to post! My wonderful assistant Caitlin and I spend a good hour bubbling and laughing in the back yard!
