This underwater sprout was tiny, and had little air bubbles stuck all around.
The light coming from the surface right above it gave them a metal-like glare!
Taken with a reversing ring.
Well not in my usual habbit of just one post per day ~ Took this one today as I was given a tube of bubbles from my partner (as a freebie from work).
Tricky trying to get the detail & all components into one!
This photo was achieved using my D200 and 50mm Macro set to shutter priority to allow a fast capture & sharpness of bubbles yet making sure the f-stop was low enough to gain sufficient sharpness. I focused on a piece of removable tape on a window, then focused in by a fraction to counter for the small distance between window & camera, then set my camera to high continuous shoot. The exposure comp. set to +0.7ev. Then as I blew bubbles from one hand I fired the camera with the other! ~Bloody complicated but hopefully I succeeded!?
~ Some parts of the photo you can see bits of "popped" bubbles!
Hope you enjoy this picture! ~ Im off to clean my camera of sicky bubble solution...
Any critique is appreciated ~ Thank you!

Trotz der schnell vergänglichen Motive zeigt sich hier in der Schärfe der Seifenblase die Stärke der Sony Alpha 6300.

Despite the fast passing motifs, the strength of the Sony Alpha 6300 is shown here in the sharpness of the soap bubble.
I took a few photos of this phenomenon on the river, where the water bubbled up into these strange shapes.
I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air,
They fly so high,
Nearly reach the sky,
Then like West Ham,
They fade and die.
Fortune's always hiding,
I've looked everywhere,
I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air.
Just so, some vintage soap bubble bokeh and artefacts (derived from backlit dew drops). A reminder of cooler days, ..man it's hot currently 😕, ..very good conditions for IR however, I'm collecting good material. 😊

Just clearing my memory card!
I love the colours here. Zubble bubbles have blue ink in them, so the colours are different to normal soap bubbles.
No editing here! Just a crop.
It was raining heavily when I shot this. You can see a drop of rain on the right. If you look really carefully you might see an umbrella! ;-)
We spent some time outside today, though it was freezing! Amy's got a handheld bubble blower that chucks out tons of bubbles,
İt became suddenly cold. The storm swept away small things. Fall came with pushing the summer away..and then it rained. Rain poured down its drops like tiny bubbles on the window. These bubbles are those--so real like tiny cute cells..

Diese Seifenblasen waren für die umstehenden Fotografen ein dankbaren Motiv.

These soap bubbles were a grateful motive for the surrounding photographers.
I finally got to take bubble shots this weekend - wanted to do it for a long time. The weather was perfect and, aside from being eaten alive by mosquitoes, it was fun. I have more of these coming. HBW!

Feliz semana a tutti !!

Kathy, I want to thank you for all of your kindness, for not being afraid to reach out and for reminding me daily that there's still some great people in the world. Emiley has had a hard year so far this year, but we are only looking for things to get bubblier and brighter.

Backstory: Growing up, Alya was obsessed with food. Though it got to the point where her classmates would make fun of her, due to her weight, and last name. Throughout high school, she would learn about makeup, and more specifically, makeup for special fx. She truly enjoyed it, though her alcoholic father didn't approve. Upon learning about her powers, she would get revenge, and trap her bullies inside a bubble, and they would slowly run out of oxygen, and die. She dedicated herself to making healthier choices when it came to food, and would lose the weight she had gained several years later. It wasn't much better at home however, as all the money Alya ever earned was taken by her father for his alcohol addiction. When she confronted him about it, wanting to save up for special fx makeup school, her father would lash out at her, abusing her. Her mother, still loyal to the man for some reason, said nothing, and something in Alya snapped. She would end up killing her mother and father, leaving the home before police arrived. On the run, Alya became Bubbles, one who would steal/kill to survive.
Status: On the run from police.
