I took 22 images this evening and I wasn't happy with any of them. So this is the one your getting. lol
Old Tom isn't up to a lot of walking now. Our neighbor Sheila came with us today and took Tom on a short walk, while Snaps and I took a longer route and met them part way.
This was one of two Scotties I met at Great Meadow. They were cousins who were being walked by their owner. Doesn't this one look like Yosemite Sam?
I LOVE how Arch looks without a collar on. Of course he rarely goes without one since he's not microchipped yet, and I get so nervous about what would happen if he got away. He was exhausted after his walk today so I had to capture this cuteness while I had my chance.
Lord Archibald requires 20 minutes of rest for every 10 minutes he walks. And yes, He needed to be up on the bench with me!
Late last night I posted this old photo with a begging letter attached. My Flickr Pro account was about to expire, and with no immediate means to pay for it I was seeking a sponsor. Ten minutes later I deleted the photo and letter in a fit of self-inflicted pique, annoyed that I'd even asked, and switched off the box.
This morning I switched on and noticed that the expiry warning at the top of my screen had disappeared, and yet all my photos and sets remained. Which means that in the few minutes the photo was online, someone saw it and responded. Not only that, they responded above and beyond, with two years of sponsorship.
I'm really not sure quite how to react. On the one hand I am profoundly grateful to the point of stifling tears, and on the other hand I'm trying to figure out how to slip this person $60 next time we meet, without them realising (yes, Flickr tells me who you are, even if you prefer not to announce it).
In the meantime, I can only return this photo to its place and allow these two dogs to express my thanks. Yesterday, they pleaded - today, they frolic.
I guess I'd better try to get some good photos, now :-)
P.S. Thanks, again, to Henk for the previous year's sponsorship. Without it, I'd probably never have bothered to find out what Flickr can do. Even though I use only a fraction of the possibilities.
Arch chewed his new bone for probably 4 hours total today. It's one of those ones that comes out of the freezer at the dog store so it has all this nasty (I'm sure tasty when you're a Bullie) gooey stuff on it... like ligaments or cartilege or tendons or something (anatomy isn't a strong subject of mine). Of course I accidentally stuck my fingers in it about a hundred times, equally grossed out each time.
HAPPY NANNER DAY!
In loving memory of Mojo

I love having a snack I can share with baby Arch. Since he gets ZERO table scraps/people food, apples and bananas are two of the few foods we can share.
She celebrated her 10th birthday on 11/20/14, and is also celebrating being just a little over a year past initial tumor surgery/mast cell cancer, grade 3, diagnosis that took place in November 2013.
My son's heifer - we decided to keep her and hopefully she should be having a calf of her own soon :).

...Hello stubborn Archie!!!
He was being such a big wuss about it being 60 degrees haha. We walked for about a half hour before this big lug wanted to turn around and go home. Note that I don't even need the prong collar because he gets so tired so fast in this weather. I think we need to get one of those cooling vests for him because I cannot deal with this stubbornness all Spring and Summer! I hope he's just adjusting, and he won't be quite as big of a baby once he gets used to warmth.
And I have no idea why those leaves are there. They make it look like it's Autumn. Maybe that's why he wanted to stand on them. Wishful thinking? ;)
