This image taken nearly twelve months ago now. Walked in this particularly beautiful temperate rainforest a sobering experience of our role in the scheme of things.
This little creek burbles and twists through the most beautiful green, with the ancient old trees still remaining, remnants of the ice age.
Chris [ quartered shirt ] and passenger safely out of the ditch. The jury decision was to leave the Norton WASP in the ditch, and then tractor it out onto the main road. What fun we do have at these classic scrambles!

Nova our english mastiff pup is now 18 weeks and 60 lbs, pictured with our 4 year old son, Dakota. She is awesome with our kids but begining to get a bit aggressive with strangers despite our efforts to socialize her.
This brindle English Bulldog sculpture was made by hand in polymer clay and is a one of a kind custom order.
She was going to be put down for being a brindle, but our humane society stepped in and saved her. At time of posting she is available for adoption! Adopt her from olddominionumanesociety.org

We borrowed a sled off of this kid and his really nice dad. They laughed so hard when we said it was because we wanted to put our dog on it. Haha. He was a little freaked out by it, but as soon as they went down the first time, Arch went over to the sled on his own and stood on it. lol.
