A Little History

The current Church was rebuilt around the 1800s. The church tower is much earlier, possibly late medieval could be as early as the 1400s. There are six bells in the tower with the 4th & 5th dating from around 1530 cast by John Wolley. The remaining four bells were cast in 1904 by John Taylor & Co. of Loughborough.

This is about a week after being home. Its hard to believe that Cami was only 55 pounds the day I took her home... now she is 70! She was considerably thin and not very muscular (she barely ate anything for the month or so she was at the shelter). But today, Cami has been having to watch her weight which is good news!
