The Exoskeletal Platform with Integrated Guns (or EXO-P.I.G.) is - or rather was - a top-secret military project designed to limit human casualties on the battlefield. The idea was to fight with mobile armed platforms controlled by animals with wireless brain implants.

However, once connected to the network, Kevin, the pig test subject, stumbled upon this video, and decided to use the EXO-P.I.G. to avenge his brothers and sisters slaughtered for their meat and turn humans into bacon instead. Thank you Mr Cruz !

Build notes :

I bought the CMF S15 Farmer on BL back in February along with the parts I needed for the chair and the the Gingko, mainly because of the pig, and quickly decided to give it an Exo-Suit. I had build a first prototype back then, but wasn't happy with it, so I disassembled it. I gave it another try yesterday, and it was complete in a couple of hours. It's almost invisible, but the core part of the MOC is a motorcycle frame.

Thanks to Ignika for his input about the feet. Coincidentally, we both came up with a similar solution involving round tiles.

Are you like me and dream of one day owning a Victorian style home? Is there something keeping that dream from becoming a reality?

Well, then this Victorian Dream Home is for you. I created this project to fulfill that dream in some small way while also hoping to fulfill another dream of mine; to design a real LEGO set.

If you like the idea of this project as a LEGO set and would want LEGO Ideas to release one, please cast your vote by clicking here to go to LEGO Ideas and support the project. It’s free to support and setup a LEGO ID. Also, by supporting The Victorian Dream Home, you are NOT obligated to buy it if it is released in the future.

If this project reaches 10,000 supporters, then LEGO Ideas will consider it for an official LEGO set. If they decide to release an official version, the final design will be created by LEGO Master Builders. Mine is only a prototype.

More information on the build process and set details can also be found on LEGO Ideas

Next installment of hellboy.bricks and my Adventurers Redux collaboration is one of my favourite sets of all time - the Oasis Ambush!

Though I sadly never got this set, I always loved it's design, conception and much playfeatures, given the small size. Especially the black chest as body for the Anubis/Jackle Sphinx is a perfect use of a part!

I wanted to integrate this essential feature of this set, although my starting point was the head, or more precisely the ears. The interior of the tomb, with chains and wooden construction, should reflect the complicated safety measures of ancient Egyptian pharaonic tombs, like the pyramids. It is half-functional. You can open it by pulling the chains, but have to close it manually...

Because of the overall scaled up dimension, I decided to go with two palm trees instead of one. I am really happy with the outcome of them, especially the bigger one, where I took a different approach on the trunk. 🌴

I also fearured a rare Duplo part in the palm isle, I am sure you can easily spot it 😉

I hope you enjoyed this remaster as much as I enjoyed building it!

So I've been building some Brickheadz in my spare time, mostly built just for fun!

Since the Brickheadz line started I've been causally building my own in my down time between major projects. Generally speaking, my photography takes hours upon hours of work and plenty of dedication; so taking time to just relax and build can be pretty therapeutic :)

I've built about fourteen or so different DC Brickheadz for myself, and with the Brickset Contest coming to a close I figured I'd share some of my favorites just cuz. These aren't amazing or anything, but I just wanted to be part of this enormous contest and put my hat in the ring, as it were :P

It's a little different from my normal posts, but if you like them or want to see more in the future, let me know! :)

Anyway, be sure to check out Patreon in the next day or so, because some new Black Lantern Minifig photo's are coming soon!

Otherwise, I'll be seeing you all in a week!

Even though it's not as good as being there in person, I had so much fun with the virtual BrickCan 2020 experience this weekend. It was great seeing everyone, even if just digitally.

This was my winning entry to the virtual Master Build. Our challenge was to build something in the theme of "Holding it together" using only the parts from 75973 D-Va & Reinhardt, to be built and photographed within about 6 hours (a long time window to accomodate people's varying schedules).

I had the idea today. At first I wanted to use this part for the fingers, but on LDD we cannot connect the claws directly on it...

After the dawn of Creation, the Heaven and Earth were torn asunder by one champion who defied all; the Feathered Serpent.

They told me I was their priest, His servant. Only I could satisfy Him by nobly bringing him sacrifices, so I started to hunt..

I was better at it than anyone else, so they granted me this armor made in His image, a tribute to our God.

I do not remember when I died, or how. All I know is that when I awoke, my prized armor could not come off anymore.

My comrades; Dead, Our Empire; in ruins.

This can only mean one thing;

My God requires an even bigger sacrifice... Let us commence the hunt..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At last, a new moc. The concept of this was to create a truly devoted Aztec cultist of Quetzalcoatl who devoted his life, death and reawakening to Him.
He's my entry into the Brickset contest.
PS; those are real teeth.
features and details
I tried to include the design cues and play features of the original while adding my own flavor to the design.
Check out the play features video, and wheel assembly breakdown.
I first met Jørn when I started working on LEGO Boost in 2016. He kept mostly to himself and built all kinds of amazing functions. As the months went by I got to know him better. Then we started talking about the sets he designed. I realized he needed a brick list.
Sets Designed By Jørn Thomsen
He would always tell us “stone is better”
This means building with bricks is more fun than building with plates.
The M-Tron magnet holder was one of the first elements he designed.
I had the great honor to work with him for several years.
Tragically, on March 9 he lost his battle with mesothelioma.
He was 66.
He will always be with us in our hearts and all the wonderful toys he made.
This is my entry for the Brickset Build a Bonsai competition After a little research I found that the Japanese art of Bonsai is based on the ancient Chinese art Penjing also know as Penzai which is the art of depicting a artistically formed tree, other plants and landscapes in miniature. The Japanese style emerged during the Kamakura period and instead of entire landscapes, the Japanese started growing individual trees. These trees are what we know as Bonsai today. After finding this information I decided to build a fusion mixing the two styles together.
My final entry to the Revamp contest over in the Teen Lego group.
I may have stretched the boundaries a bit in building this one.
I added an opening function for a better play experience, removable tower, and I decided that it looks a lot better without water surrounding it. So now it's not just a water based set, it can be on land OR water!
Original set can be found here.
A medieval-fantasy version of Friends set 41391 Heartlake City Hair Salon.
When I saw the article on Brickset, wanted to build it right away! :D I remembered seeing an updated police car version by makuharisoundmachine on Instagram. I followed some of his design and adapted it with the Train Station taxi build together....
My entry for the brickset bonsai competition. Didn't like the first two shots too much so I ended up reshooting the model.
Here's another tiny incremental change to an older model thanks to new parts being available. The new set 41386 brings us 58176 / 29380 in yellow! This allows me to make the mirrors smaller and more subtle, and I think it looks much nicer than the lever bases I had to use before.
Current Owner: Cromwell Lumber, Inc
Designation: Unit 43
Product Number: 4-LMBR-34-R
Designated Planet: Soruliv, R-Class Planet
Task: Harvest Sectors 14 - 16
Operator: Charles Archer
"The 4-LMBR-34-R (LuMBeR) is a state of the art, fully automated logging robot, capable of clearing up to 200 acres a cycle. There are a variety of arm configurations which can be equipped, but the standard setup includes a Cratech Chainsaw, which can handle trees up to 2 meters wide, and a hydraulic claw for handling and transport. On top of that, our top-of-the-line targeting system allows the machine to accurately handle and cut fresh lumber. The ion batteries last for a whole 24 hours, with just an 8-hour recharge period. When it comes to safety, we don't slack. A biological scanner is implemented directly into the system so that if any sentient beings are detected it will switch into standby mode.
If you wanna log the galaxy right, do it with Karma Robotics."
With the release of set 21306 'The Beatles Yellow Submarine' (brickset.com/sets/21306-1/The-Beatles-Yellow-Submarine), part 88293 is now available in Flame Yellowish Orange (BL=Bright Light Orange), which I hope might pass for BR Yellow for loco-end warning panels. With that in mind, I have re-bricked (legally now, Noa!) my BR class 55, to BR blue with yellow end sections. I've added a nod to the train heating outlets and one or two other details.
I must admit, I think it looks a whole lot better in two-tone green for umpteen reasons, not least of which the yellow noses now emphasise that the 3x3x2 arch bricks are really far too big a radius for the job. Still, it's there for the record.
I had to lower the vehicle height, encountered some problems trying to fit in the minifig with the original instructions. Did some simple modification and glad it turned out ok!
Some builds take on their own life. This loco started out as tablescrap with the cannon part. I gave it some rolling stock thinking it might be a cute holiday train. Instead it got huffy and demanded a bridge. And a bridge needs something to cross ...
For more photos, see the full set.
In 2013 I made a two-wide train, now this one is three-wide ... I guess I'll keep working my way up to minifig scale :)
I chose to revamp 6093 Flying Ninja Fortress. TBH, despite the name I had a hard time figuring out whether it was the Samurai's fortress or the Ninja's fortress. The blue flags suggested the former, so I assumed that was the case.
Anyhow, I tried to actually do a SET revamp, and not just pick a set and do whatever I felt like to it. XP When I found this under the Castle subtheme it instantly appealed to me. The final result was satisfying despite the fact that I had to power through the last of it this morning!
Figured these bad boys needed a group shot.
GARC!
So yeah I had 6395 as a kid and still do. I might get ambitious and do the whole thing van, trailer, announcer box, pit lane, etc, motherfucking etc.
The original design has the studs and grill below the stickered brick... I decided to flip it out to make it looks more aggressive... :D
REVAMP
Only made from the parts in 76001 The Bat vs. Bane: Tumbler Chase (including the stand). I just took the parts and whipped this up in an hour or so. I guess you could call it an alternate build lol.
It’s a very simple build but I like this a lot since it’s one of the thing that makes me love Pixar :)
- It’s based from this Poster.
- See the short animation Here.
It’s my 21st entry for Iron Builder competition vs. Gilcelio Chagas. The secret ingredient for this round is 2 x 2 Domes in Dark Blue.
This started as a simple modification to the upcoming 40650 6-wide Land Rover set to integrate the more squared off 28326 mudguards, which felt more appropriate to me. Then, the set designer Adam Grabowski posted his prototype to Flickr, and instantly, I wanted to add more elements similar to the ones that model had. I also added some, but not all, of the accessory elements from the Creator Expert-scaled set (since I feel like that one's a bit too busy with ALL the stuff it has on it).
I'd like to give credit to several individuals for aspects of this model:
- LEGO, for the upcoming set.
- Adam Grabowski, for the prototype.
- john.carter, for the offset square mudguard integration concept.
- Ids de Jong, for the gas can idea.
- The LEGO Car Building Discord server, for bits of feedback.
I realised the City-Corner set has two different chefs... decided to build both and place one at the Townhouse-Pet-Shop-Cafe set...
Loving these plain coloured minifigures... Bought the magenta torso from UK. Glad it arrived safely...
Uncharted is my favorite video game series ever, so I decided to make Nate, then Sam, then Victor and Elena. All torsos were modified in some way, with Victor's being the only one fully painted. Figures are broken down by piece below, in case you're curious:
Not my finest work, but I wanted to share this micro Rock Monster. The main body is a no pattern mini Piraka head and the back is a pair of those guns that shoot studs. I don't have many parts in this color so I had to improvise.
A tribute to one of my favorite sets, Mars Mission 7697
Sure, I'll drink the BrickHeadz koolaid. For the Brickset contest, since there's almost no real bricks entries.
(Psst, a couple of the sets are actually fun to build, and full of cool parts. Don't tell anyone I told you.)
Pretty simple mod here: I wanted to turn the Speed Champions Porsche 911 Turbo into a Targa in order to match the just-released Creator Expert 10295, which can optionally be built either as a Turbo or a Targa. The goal was to do this modification with as few additional pieces as possible. This conversion requires only 20 pieces that don't already come in the set! My first attempt required 30.
I know this is totally cheating, but I couldn't resist posting the micro version that I "built" of Lego Ideas set 21313: Ship in a Bottle. Building the actual set was awesome and "building" this micro version made me laugh. I hope someone actually builds a micro version of this set for the Brickset 60 years of the Brick competition.
