Wingless dragon, known for its cruelty and ferocity.

My entry for Jayfa's dragon contest, BWTB non-humanoid MOC contest and Brickset character building competition.

Flashback to the 60s colorful furniture and blocky TVs.

Built for a contest over at my LUG Brikkelauget's forum. This months theme is Lego in the 60s. Built this as a modernized version of Set 022-2: Doll Furniture

Who do these bird brains think that they are? I think that I'll have to egg them on with some smack...

This is my second build for the ABS Builder Challenge.

The seed part is the lime telephone.

Due to increased galactic security and scare resources, Blacktron are searching salvage yards and stealing old hardware from museums. One such find was an old Star Fleet Voyager, which actually predates the formation of Blacktron (seen here in her glory days).

Dubbed "Lurker", this old model 6929 has been converted into an electronic warfare platform. Due to the mission profile of long loiter-time, the old fossil's slow speed is not a great handicap, given adequate escort protection.

Guard postings at space museums have since been tripled.

Following the box art... :D A delightful set... Worth to get!

For a contest on roguebricks.de I jumped back to one of my favorite childhood themes, Lego Aquanauts. The landscape is highly inspired by Anthony Wilson and the sub is orientated to the Crystal Explorer Sub - 6175. Hope you like it.

Kikanalo Smith is an adventuring Po-Matoran exploring the strange and curious lands of Aqua Magna which house many artifacts that belong in museums!

My attempt at an entry for the 2021 Bio-Cup in which the preliminary theme was Bionicle Remixed. I don't have a lot of Bionicle, but I do have Huki McToran and the theme called for having Bionicle that's not really Bionicle, and for some reason I thought of Indiana Jones. I know, it's tragic, I didn't include a fedora, but I have no idea how to do that, I didn't use my time wisely, and to be honest, there's already way too much System in this thing.

This is my tribute to Piotr Turecki's Surface Explorer. I liked his MOC so much that I wanted to build a version of my own.

There's a movable claw crane at the rear, posable robot arms at the sides and working suspension. There's also a 9V lighting system. More photos to follow!

The grey and green colour scheme is inspired by classic Space sets like 6952 or 6940. I've made the wheel hub caps in red to add a dash more colour, even though the wheels of 6952 don't have the traditional red space hub caps.

A revamped version of the city pizzeria from 1994 (set #6350) The original box art had a beach setting vibe in the background, so that led to things like the palm tree and surfers. Based off of the size I got the impression of it being more of a permanent "food truck" style structure rather than a restaurant. So I decided to keep the same size footprint but added some more details. One change I made was rotating the ovens so they faced inside the store rather than out the back, and I split it into two separate ovens rather than one two layered oven. I also wanted to focus more on the setting rather than the vehicle that was originally included in the set. So I eliminated the delivery service and unfortunately that meant that the delivery driver got demoted to being a janitor.

From time to time I get an idea in my head, no matter how ridiculous, and I am compelled to build it. Thus, I give you my "boneseye" tree. Yes, I'm willing to go a long way for a pun. Still, it's been a long time since I've built something purely for the joy of building, and this turned out to be a really enjoyable exercise.

Enjoy it with this song.

When your dark visits…hope is waiting just around the corner, never give up!

Set 7101: Lightsaber Duel (revamped)

Seeing as I made Bloodfin I thought I might as well update a very old but memorable Lego Star Wars set from 1999 brickset.com/sets/7101-1/Lightsaber-Duel

No Photoshop effects, just color correction and dust cleaning, this is the actual behind the scene setup.

“No matter how old are you, if you’re brave enough to do this, you’ll feel the true freedom” :)

*Imagine they are running with a slow motion effect with this song.

Again, maybe it’s nothing new using the dome piece as a balloon, but I have this ideas for quite a while, which are:

1. Taking an upside down build to use gravity on strings or chains.

2. Making a moving/motion blur effect (panning photography) with bricks.

And it turns out this mystery part fits for me to finally make those ideas into reality, though it turns out it really took a very long time to shot this scene to get the right lighting and angle…I guess I won’t do this kind of trick for a long time…hahahaha

Revamps of QUICK polybags 7718 and 7716.

This is officially the most fragile thing i have ever built.

Another small build for the Roguebricks Annual Challenge. This time I tried my hand at revamping set 7474 from the memorable Dino Attack line. It is also a donation to Creations for Charity. I’ve listed my Suros Bolt starfighter as well, so check out the shop if you are interested in either.

I’m very happy with the buggy and loved building in the Dino Attack style. It’s another theme I admired as a kid without ever getting any sets.

You can't see me....you can't see me....you can't see me....gotchaaa!!!!

There are lots of awesome chameleon builds that I've seen, and the two builds that are my fave and sticks in my head were made by Littlehaulic and Donna Liem :)...but I haven't browse and look to any of the chameleon builds during I build this instead I browse and look for the real chameleon photos on the net and see how I translate it to bricks, and this is the result, hope you guys like it :)

A.K.A. Star Wars Bohrok.

My (rushed) last-minute entry to the Build With the Force contest.

I initially planned to build Cav, a SCAR Trooper from the comics (you can see him here, he's the Scout), but eventually thought that even with a lot of knives and a robotic arm, a Stromtrooper is a bit boring. So I've built a Droideka instead, putting the 4M brown shells I've gotten from bricklink a few months ago to good use. Unfortunately, this one doesn't roll into a ball, but I'll certainly build a more set-like version with a few technic features in the near future (don't expect something as rad as the good old Technic Droideka though). Good thing a certain Star Wars Ultrabuild set from this summer contains brown Technic pieces. :v

As a Dwarven barber, Per Wilkinsson had always considered that facial hair was a matter of utmost importance.

A silky, impeccably plaited moustache showed off high social status in a tasteful, distinguished way. A disheveled, bushy beard indicated more than just a lack of elegance.

He had been apprentice to the best barbers in Omurtag, had obtained the repected title of Master, and had learned all the arcane secrets of his art.

He was at the very peak of his career when his wife unexpectedly inherited a significant mining concession in some remote, backwater corner of the Heavenly Mountains.

And she decided they would move there. A simple life and the jolly atmosphere of a familial mine, away from the vicissitudes of the bustling city - that's what she suddenly wanted for their children.

Undaunted, Per decided he would open his on barber shop there, civilize the local savages and bring them the light and benefits of proper beard grooming.

A medieval-fantasy version of Friends set 41391 Heartlake City Hair Salon.

When I saw the City sets released for last year 2022, I fell in love with the cars on the Freight-Train... It looked sporty and updated... I have the Cargo-Train cars which were two smart cars... Quite happy to see them updated by Lego. But I can't afford the big set, so I set about buying the parts for the cars only. Built the two cars some time back, just gotten around to taking photos of them. :D

My LEGO remake of the Space Police II set "Sonar Security" (6852) meeting up with its almost 30 year old original.

My version is quite a bit bigger than the original, allowing for a bit more detail in the design as well as a more functional rocket launching trailer. It also has flexibly suspended wheels on the lorry and trailer, allowing for better offroad capabilities. And it includes lighting features with the battery box and hub neatly hidden behind the cockpit and accessible through a hatch on the roof.

Building instructions and further details can be found on Rebrickable.

Ice Planet 2002 is such a cool theme! I designed these mini versions of the sets months ago for a building competition, but unfortunately I didn’t have all the parts to build them. Months later, Elemental LEGO, posted a mini version of the Deep Freeze Defender including a bit of environment of the frozen planet. I thought that’s a brilliant idea! I got enthusiastic again and decided to make this diorama. The sets are:

-6879 Blizzard Baron

-6898 Ice-Sat V

-6973 Deep Freeze Defender

-6983 Ice Station Odyssey

Riding atop a mutant Dragonfish, an Ogel Commander and Footsoldier patrol the dark recesses of their overlord's underwater domain.

My entry to Round 1 of the 2018 Bio-Cup. The task was to capture the essence of an assigned LEGO theme; my theme was Ultra Agents/ Agents/ Alpha Team.

What a lovely bird... It should have come with the Townhouse-Pet-Shop-Cafe back then but I guess better late than never!

After 30 years of service from Billy Goat's old tow truck he desperately needed a replacement.

I'm a bit surprised I didn't get to see more "recolor MOCs" of the nifty R2-D2 model from a while ago.

There's a clever Francesco version made by Jens Ohrndorf but that's it.

One more...

Couldn't let the chance of building characters pass without a Calvin and Hobbes. Took a great deal of liberty with the Brickheadz design for Hobbes, but I think it looked better than a stubby true-to-form one.

Build for the Brickset Brickheadz contest.

I’m still having a great time revisiting old themes for RogueBricks Annual Challenge, and was prompted to try something for Mars Mission after watching Cheesey Studios’ recap of the first wave sets. This ship came together over the course of four evenings, and is a very swooshable chunk of a craft!

A tribute to my first Star Wars photo. I just wanna say a huge thank you to each and every single one of my followers. I've been here for not even two years, and I've grown so much since the TIE MOC I made for the Brickset competition, uploaded on December 1, 2016, my very first photos. It's been a varied, fun, and wild ride since then, and none of this would've been possible without y'all's support. Again, thank you all so much, and I hope to continue to inspire you guys with new and, well, inspirational photos :)

This is a work-in-progress model of an undersea base inspired by 6441 Deep Sea Refuge, a Divers set from 1997. The glass tunnel will connect to another section of the base. The tunnel is partially inspired by a very silly shark film called 'The Meg'

A small sailing vessel that was brought ashore.

A boat I made inspired by this set. 'Twas quite a pain to tie all those finicky strings; I now have more respect for model ship builders (and yes I know the rigging is most likely illogical). Expect to see more pics from me using an actual camera from now on. (my previous works have been iPhone shots)

This is a set mod of 76912 because LEGO has made 3 minifig-scale black Chargers in just a few years, and I wanted to do something different with this one. I kept most of the techniques from the original build, but I had to re-do the C pillars for a variety of reasons, and I like how they turned out - longer and more dramatic, like the real car. I'm also quite pleased with the numbers on the side.

Enforcing intergalactic law since 1992

Lego calls this series 17 guy a hot dog vendor. Brickset calls him hot dog man, but I believe that to be a mistake, because the dude in a hot dog costume is the hot dog man. In any case, I see him as a guy who works at a diner, so that's why I built a diner scene for him.

This was a really fun build. I tried to get the right retro diner vibe, and of course I had to add a jukebox! It was quite challenging to build a jukebox that wouldn't look too imposingly large in the scene, but I'm really pleased with the result.

And that concludes this series, with one of my own personal favourite build of them all. Hope you all enjoyed my little return to collectible minifig vignettes :)

Out in 86, the cosmic fleet voyager was my favourite set as a kid.

Here for more pictures.

A friend from Brickset photoshoped this in black, thought I'd share it.

Set #6048 Majisto's Magical Workshop was one of my favorite sets as a kid. So when LEGO announced their 90th Anniversary Micro-Scale contest, this set was at the top of my list. Click here for the link to my entry.

I also submitted this to the Summer Joust's12x12 Vignette category. I included as many features of the original set as I could at this scale.

The building opens on a hinge. Both figures, Majisto and a Dragon Knight, are present. There is a table (unpictured), treasure chest, skillet on the fire and a ladder upstairs.

I used the original 53° 3x1x3 1/3 slope to get the angle right on the roof.

If you enjoyed this creation, check out TomSkippy's Dragon Masters Micro layout featuring the whole Dragon Master collection in micro scale.

The Heavy Rocket Transport is used by the Federation to launch new and improved communication satellites in orbit.

Well, the weekend was here and I finally had some time to build some bigger rover for FebRovery, I'm fairly happy with the results of this Neo-Classic space rocket transport.

Inspired by the Heavy Communications Rover of The Brick Artisan and one of my favorite sets: 6950 - Mobile-Rocket-Transport. I tried to incorporate a couple of things also used in the set together with the cockpit configuration and 6 wheels.
