I think this is the best of my Tourny builds so far. Not necessarily because it's the most aesthetically pleasing, as I feel like that goes to my R1 build. I think this build however, was by far the most creative. In my R1 build, I used a lot of well known techniques, and though the half arch was kinda cool, it still wasn't that creative or hard to achieve. With this build I went for a very different style, trying to keep the overall look simple, while trying to create some more complex angles and aesthetics (like the lower wall). Likewise, I wanted the tree to have a simple somewhat smooth feel, but at the same time have branches sticking out at all sorts of angles. Building the fort around the branches was surprisingly difficult for me, and it left the upper part being an rather awkward shape.

Aspects of the build I would have liked to work on more would have manly been the base, and the transition from the lower to upper part of the fort. I think the overall aesthetic of the build would have been much better with a wider base that wrapped around the fort more.

Here's a lil' something for Easter. Entry for #LEGOEaster campaign.

Instructions for all of these and more are available here: rebrickable.com/users/Oky/mocs/

Here´s a better view of my giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

I designed him prior to set 76393 Harry Potter & Hermione Granger. Have a closer look at the arms and legs and you´ll see that they differ very much from the giant Harry and Hermione.

Built for Brickset's Bonsai competition.

Hey guys,

I'm really sorry for the lack of posts recently. Unfortunately the MOCs for Bricking Bavaria 2019 are taking longer than expected.

So until I'll finally be able to show of some really big new stuff I'll just show you some older models and varients of MOCs I never posted.

This white BARC speeder uses the sticker piece from the 2014 Battle on Saleucami set. I came up with the idea of building the speeder in white when I discoverd the sticker which looked really great and I wanted to see if it would go alongside my minifigscale version as well.

But what do you guys think?

Please leave some Feedback in the comments!

There arent many great Boat Sets these days imo (at least none that look realistic). After the IDEAS keep getting more martitime since last year, i thought why not join in and try something completely brickbuild;)

Been a favorite Set back in a day, so except for decaling i tried my best getting the type of boat/yacht matching with the flair of the old set from 1991...

brickset.com/sets/4011-1/Cabin-Cruiser

For size comparisson i included one of the 1/43 scale cars.

And credit where credit is due:

Pls check out this very well done speedboat hull engineering i mainly copied and enlargened for this build.

Better watch out, because we're going after the gold!

And that's it from me! Been an awesome round, chaps, congrats to y'all!

In case you haven't recognized it already, this is (pretty obviously) a MOD of the Soldiers' Fort - definitely something different for me, though as a matter of fact I never got the original set, so this was totally built on my own, haha!

Sixth and last build for the ABS Season 2 Finale with the Silver Goblet of Destiny! The cannon torch and prison bars were the uses that inspired this build, but I thought I'd just get as many other fun uses in after that as I could!

Thanks for viewing, C&C welcome as always!

Here's my micro-scale model for Brickset's Star Wars competition, featuring the Battle of Crait from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I'm really looking forward to this contest, especially for all the other entries. I actually gotta thank Brickset for last year's Star Wars competition, as that was what got me into Flickr; in fact, it's only 6 more days until my 1 year anniversary :D So I guess this model is me thanking them as well XD I hope you enjoy!

Oh, here's a closer look at the models by the way :)

Here's my entry to the 2017 biocup eliminatories. It's based on this set .

My second entry to Brickset's Star Wars competition. I'm not very used to making micro models; this one took me 2-3 hours to make XD It was a lot of fun though. Can't wait to see how this contest ends!

This whole combination is basically a remake of three Lego sets: The Maersk train, TTX Intermodal double-stack car and the Maersk Truck and Trailer Unit.

My third entry to the Bricklink's "60 Years of the LEGO Brick Competition"

That police station two photos down won me this minifig, awesome! That snazzy uniform, definitely Chief material. Of course, he needs a cruiser.

I had set 6506 in mind but there's not a single bit of that in here...

I always had a soft spot for Exo-Force despite only ever owning one of the smaller sets. Therefor it was an obvious choice for this weeks 'Guardians' theme, and I ended up re-imagining Ryo's Uplink, set no. 7708, from the first (and in my opinion best) wave of Exo-Force.

And yes, that's Takeshi's head, I couldn't find the correct one...

Mech Monday is an ongoing project started by Marin and I with the aim to build and post 52 mechs each in 2019 – one every Monday.

Come join the fun by posting a mech, robot or drone on a Monday. Any Monday. Find everyone's builds so far in the Mech Monday flickr group.

Bionicle and Castle. Two themes that should never meet, and yet here we are…

Welcome to the Big Bioni-Castle Contest! (Well, it’s not that big, I just like how it sounds)

What does a Bionicle-Castle MOC mean to you? Build it and enter it in before November 15th 11:59 PM (PT) and we’ll see what your sick twisted minds come up with!

Of course, a contest wouldn’t be much of a contest without prizes, which are as follows:

The Grand Ultimate Bioni-Castle Builder:

Chosen by yours truly, the winner of this award will win a sealed 8697 Toa Ignika, a sealed 8791 Sir Danju (Knights Kingdom), a NYCC Trans-clear hau, and a 2019 $20 USD set of their choice.

Bionicle Builders Choice

Chosen by Cezium (Renowned Bionicle builder and skeleton enthusiast), the winner of this award will win a sealed 8911 Toa Mahri Jaller and a 2019 $20 USD set of their choice.

Castle Builders Choice

Chosen by Grant Davis (famed castle MOCist, system MOCist and co-creator of the pop-up book ideas project), the winner of this award will win a sealed 8778 Knights Kingdom Border Ambush and a 2019 $20 USD set of their choice.

How to enter:

To enter on Flickr, just tag me in the photo and include the tag 'bionicastlecontest'

To enter on Instagram, tag me in the photo (@thesecretwalrus) and include the hashtag #bionicastlecontest

To enter on Twitter, @ me in the tweet (@trulynotawalrus) and include the hashtag #bionicastlecontest

A few rules:

This contest is International!

There are no restrictions on Bionicle and System part usage! Bionicastle is more of a suggestion than a strict adherence anyway.

Digital builds are allowed, however, you can’t exploit no-clipping and you may not use any parts that don’t currently exist physically in that colour (so no pink mixel joints, I’ll be watching)

Custom or bootleg pieces are not allowed, however you can still use anything produced by Lego, so go crazy with that Znap and Modulex if your heart desires.

The build must be new, so you may not enter anything shared publicly before the date the contest went live.

You may enter as many entries as you like! However, only one entry per contestant will be chosen as the winning entry if it wins. I would advise spending your time on one entry rather than spreading your efforts over multiple.

Deadline is November 15th, 11:59 PM Pacific Time. There won’t be extensions but 6 weeks should hopefully be plenty of time for you to get your entry in!

Once the winners are announced I will contact them asap for shipping details.

Judging is expected to take about a week however this may vary, so please be patient if they are not out within a week!

Good luck and have fun!

This MOC is my entry to the 2020 Summer Joust's "Every Set Could Be a Castle Set" category. It is based on the 2014 Lego Minecraft set 21115 The First Night.

Also, there's a Lego Minecraft minifigure piece hidden in this build. Can you find it?

Are you like me and dream of one day owning a Victorian style home? Is there something keeping that dream from becoming a reality?

Well, then this Victorian Dream Home is for you. I created this project to fulfill that dream in some small way while also hoping to fulfill another dream of mine; to design a real LEGO set.

If you like the idea of this project as a LEGO set and would want LEGO Ideas to release one, please cast your vote by clicking here to go to LEGO Ideas and support the project. It’s free to support and setup a LEGO ID. Also, by supporting The Victorian Dream Home, you are NOT obligated to buy it if it is released in the future.

If this project reaches 10,000 supporters, then LEGO Ideas will consider it for an official LEGO set. If they decide to release an official version, the final design will be created by LEGO Master Builders. Mine is only a prototype.

More information on the build process and set details can also be found on LEGO Ideas

A modernization of the small blue truck driven by Alexia Sinister in the classic Adventurers: Dino Island set 5975 “T-Rex Transport”. The original vehicle from the set was somewhat of a blank slate, lacking any particularly defining features besides its backward-sloped grille and blue color. I preserved those aspects and fleshed out a period-accurate body style, with details such as a spare tire, flared fenders, cambered front wheels, and a proper truck bed.

More photos available in the build album. Thank you to The Lego Car Blog for their post about this build!

This was built for Brickset's Build a Polybag competition. I hope you enjoyed :)

After the dawn of Creation, the Heaven and Earth were torn asunder by one champion who defied all; the Feathered Serpent.

They told me I was their priest, His servant. Only I could satisfy Him by nobly bringing him sacrifices, so I started to hunt..

I was better at it than anyone else, so they granted me this armor made in His image, a tribute to our God.

I do not remember when I died, or how. All I know is that when I awoke, my prized armor could not come off anymore.

My comrades; Dead, Our Empire; in ruins.

This can only mean one thing;

My God requires an even bigger sacrifice... Let us commence the hunt..

At last, a new moc. The concept of this was to create a truly devoted Aztec cultist of Quetzalcoatl who devoted his life, death and reawakening to Him.

He's my entry into the Brickset contest.

PS; those are real teeth.

Hey, everyone! Merry Christmas! Please excuse my dark humor, just wanted to do something funny/different this Christmas, so don't take this seriously. Didn't want it to be boring. I hope you all enjoy this little scene though. This build is a modified version of the seasonal set 40125-1 "Santa's Visit" from last year. Here's what it looked like images.brickset.com/sets/images/40125-1.jpg?201510280941 As you can see, I did a lot to it! The build was just way too small, so I expanded the room and also changed/added a few things. I'm very satisfied with the way it turned out, hope you guys are too. :)

I hope you all have a great Christmas! This is my favorite time of the year, as with most people. I love being with family and exchanging presents...Its a time of love, laughter, giving, caring, etc. There's nothing like it, and this moment only comes once a year.

I got a lot of awesome things this year, I can't wait to post a Christmas haul photo. I may or may not have gotten a Ps4...Hmm...Anyway, again, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! Enjoy your day, everyone.

After reading the Bricket Random Set Of The Day about set 5590 “Whirl and Wheel Super Truck” I had the urge to build the B model and convert it into both Futuron and Classic Space variants. The trans yellow windscreen is a bit shorter, and they don’t make the train doors in Medium Stone Grey, but I think I got pretty close!

This is an entry for Brickset's 60 Years of the Brick contest, wherein participants are tasked with creating a microscale version of any officially released Lego set. This set came out when I was nine years old. Before Lego came up with the Octan corporation, they had a deal with Shell. The Shell brick on the side is from my original 6378.

Inspired by brickset.com/sets/6601-1/Ice-Cream-Cart

The cart to bike connection using the headlamp is actually pretty sturdy, if somewhat 'illegal' with the removal of the front wheel.

This is my 685th photo, so I reckon I've got another 4 years at this rate before flickr shut me down XD

My second rover for Febrovery is a re-imagining of set 6896 Celestial Forager. John had bought me a bunch of magnets a couple years ago, and they were some of the only pieces I brought with me when moving. So I’m glad to put them to use here!

I included most of the original’s main features with an articulating body, magnetic crane, and in my rendition the radar dish can be raised or lowered. Making this brought back a lot of fun memories of building vehicles for my youngest brother to play with.

Special thanks to Markus and Marin for loaning me some parts to complete the M-Tron styling.

Maybe you've had a bit too much heavy food, or a bit too much heavy news? Time for something light.

This started with just swapping bits into set 75877 Mercedes-AMG GT3. Those yellow rims seemed to want yellow wheel wells. And then, I dunno, the rest just ... happened. You know how that goes.

Like the original set, the front end is swappable -- you do want to peel it, right? View the album for more photos.

Sorry, this is slight spoilers for Batman: Last Knight on Earth. In the story, the disembodied head of the Joker joins Batman in an apocalyptic future, and eventually gets attached to Tim Drake's robotic Robin suit. I had some ideas for the fig, but I wanted to specifically use the Junkrat head, which I don't have.

However, since I've been messing around with digital art a bit lately, I decided to make a digital version of the fig using photos from Bricklink/Brickset, and later a physical proof of concept.

I'm definitely happy with how the image turned out, but I won't lie, it took me a while haha. Let me know what you guys think of the edit, and the fig design!

My attempt at an entry for the 2021 Bio-Cup in which the preliminary theme was Bionicle Remixed. I don't have a lot of Bionicle, but I do have Huki McToran and the theme called for having Bionicle that's not really Bionicle, and for some reason I thought of Indiana Jones. I know, it's tragic, I didn't include a fedora, but I have no idea how to do that, I didn't use my time wisely, and to be honest, there's already way too much System in this thing.

This started as a simple modification to the upcoming 40650 6-wide Land Rover set to integrate the more squared off 28326 mudguards, which felt more appropriate to me. Then, the set designer Adam Grabowski posted his prototype to Flickr, and instantly, I wanted to add more elements similar to the ones that model had. I also added some, but not all, of the accessory elements from the Creator Expert-scaled set (since I feel like that one's a bit too busy with ALL the stuff it has on it).

I'd like to give credit to several individuals for aspects of this model:

- LEGO, for the upcoming set.

- Adam Grabowski, for the prototype.

- john.carter, for the offset square mudguard integration concept.

- Ids de Jong, for the gas can idea.

- The LEGO Car Building Discord server, for bits of feedback.

Anakin, Padme, R2-D2 and C-3PO have infiltrated the Separatist droid foundry on Geonosis and are ambushed by the Geonosians! Pull the pins to shut the door and drop the heroes onto the conveyor belt. Turn the wheel to move the conveyor belts and help them escape through the assembly line! Watch out for swinging robot arms, stomping presses, and chopping blades! Use the swiveling robot arm to assemble the droids. C-3PO has lost his head! Attach R2-D2's rocket boosters and turn the knob on the tower to have him fly to the rescue! Rearrange the assembly modules to create your own foundry layout.
