My entry for the 12x12 vignette category for Brickscalibur 2021 contest. One of my first attempts at a medieval build. For more details check out the video on my YouTube Channel:
The next matchup in round 1 of the Brickscalibur-Tournament -this time, the brave Brunhilda von Karatstein faces Maximus the Gladiator at the mansion of architectonic impossibilities. Who will adapt better to the confusing surroundings?
Watch out for more stunning fighting action to come!

“I’m what your people call a dark elf, and I’m a mage,” Alrune finally stated. “How could you not expect me to know enough necromancy to animate a few skeletons?”
“If you say so! But why the heck would you do that to attack the armoury? I mean, your own armoury?”
“It was a live exercise for the goblins and you! Or rather, an undead exercise,” she added with a slight chuckle he found appalling.
"In a village near a river the blacksmith settled down, to provide the kingdom with magically crafted tools and weapons. Not only did he use the power of fire to make the metal glow, but he also harnessed the power of water, which was far stronger than his pure muscles. Only in winter, when the river sometimes froze over and the blacksmith had to clear the ice from the mill wheel, did his forging work stop briefly, but otherwise it was his greatest treasure and advantage."

By the way, the inspiration for the type of hammer that the blacksmith uses here is a trip hammer: (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trip_hammer)

Built for Brickscalibur 2022 - The Frozen Wilds. I've never built a castle before, so I decided to enter a castle contest. In the end, I have still not built a castle. Maybe next year.
Went with a rather simple concept for this build. It was a challenge to get any detail out of an environment that is entirely white snow!

As the icy grip of winter tightens, the Vikings face a stark reality: The boatyards slumber, frozen, dreams of summer voyages postponed. Survival now hinges on cunning and grit. Their axes gleam not just with the promise of plunder, but with the necessity of securing sustenance through winter hunts and strategic trade. Though harsh choices may lie ahead, they are a people forged in the crucible of adversity, united by the burning spirit of survival.

The Sisterhood of the Sightless is the fourth and final group inhabiting the Library. Their sisterhood pre-dates the establishment of the Library proper, inhabiting a small abbey that would go on to be expanded and fortified to the current structure. The Sisterhood maintains a secretive vault containing artefacts, writings, and even prisoners too powerful or valuable to be destroyed after the Academy has finished its work. To this end, they swear an oath of sightlessness, and wear ceramic masques that block their vision so that they may never know what they have placed within the vault except for the number and location listed in a braille catalogue they maintain.
Fig. 4 shows the Abbess and a sister preparing to enter the vault with the item. The Abbess carries the key that will allow the Gatekeeper to permit their entry, as well as a magical anti-lantern that obscures their movements to outside eyes and scrying magics. Also notable are the ornamented wrought iron golems that flank the halls in this area, who serve as both servants and guards to the sisters.
One of the most labour intensive task in the medieval communities was cutting the hay, preparing it for animals to eat during winter.
Here is a few peasants taking a rest before continuing the given task.
Built for Brickscalibur (Farmstead Figures) and CCC (Have a peasant day).
Finally got around to posting my revamp of one of my Brickscalibur entries (Trading Places category).
Horses are the dominant mode of transportation throughout much of Historica. Farriers are never short of work, with entire families taking up the trade. One such family are the Ogden family, with all three generations of men taking part in the family business. Though advanced in years, Josiah Ogden still has the prowess needed to tend to horse hoofs. His son, Johan Ogden, focuses on preparing horse shoes, while also teaching his own son, Jeremiah, the tools of the trade.
Many farriers will also accept centaur clients, with one such client being Brielle Valken on of her (much needed) days off! Healthy hoofs make a healthy centaur!
Here's my microscale castle entry for Brickscalibur and Colossal Castle Contest.
A castle overlooking a small seaside village.
I tried to use some interesting parts, in particular I think the capes and the teacups worked out pretty well. I'm also quite satisfied with the design of the dragon and the sailboats.
Here you can check out the video:
The Custodial Order of the Hammer and Torch is a confraternity primarily staffed by mundanes- those who cannot use magic or make mana. These are hopeful but luckless students who fail to enroll in the Academy, but still find purpose in serving the Library.
Fig. 2 shows a working chamber of the Custodians in charge of processing the questing knight's latest haul. Heavy leaded armor and trunks protect them from the uncatalogued magics brought in from the field while the Veiled Lady (center) preforms and augury to determine if the item is safe to bring into the Library proper. Custodians stand at ready to destroy the figure with the iconic hammer and torch, while a phoenix trainer burns magical refuse unsuitable for further handling.
What is the tiniest trading place? I think it might be a vendors tray or a little street merchants table. I built a fireworks seller and a dealer of questionable potions and other liquids. Be brave and buy something at the black market street, but if it doesn't work properly, don't expect refunds (because they'll be long gone)
Witches’ Sabbath - this is my entry for the Brickscalibur 2023 in the Magical Minifigures category. The work depicts three witches - each witch has different magical abilities. Additionally, I built a Beastman who brings an innocent virgin as a sacrifice to the witches🐂

My entry for the category « Adventuring Party » (Brickscalibur)
Quest of the Dragon Slayer
In the heart of the Dragon’s Spine Mountains, a fearsome beast has awakened. The ancient dragon has been dormant for centuries, but a recent seismic disturbance has roused it from its slumber. With its fiery breath and razor-sharp claws, the creature has begun to terrorize the nearby villages, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
A group of unlikely heroes has formed to challenge the dragon and bring peace to the land. Each of them is drawn to this quest for different reasons:
The Knight: Guided by his sense of duty and his desire to protect the innocent, the Knight sees defeating the dragon as an opportunity to leave an indelible mark on history.
The Bard: Moved by the tales of suffering caused by the dragon, the Bard wishes to compose an epic ballad celebrating the victory over this evil creature. He hopes his music will inspire future generations.
The Dwarf: As guardian of the mountains, the Dwarf considers the dragon a threat to his home. He is determined to protect his community and preserve the natural beauty of his kingdom.
The Assassin: Though often solitary, the Assassin feels a strange calling to join this quest. He hopes that defeating the dragon will allow him to find new meaning in his life and redemption for his past actions.
The Mage: Fascinated by legendary creatures, the Mage sees the dragon as a unique opportunity to study ancient magic and deepen his knowledge. He also hopes to use his powers to protect the innocent.
Together, these adventurers must navigate treacherous dungeons, outsmart cunning traps, and face off against hordes of monstrous creatures. Their ultimate goal is to reach the dragon’s lair and defeat the dragon once and for all.
This quest is full of promise and adventure. Each of the heroes hopes to find what they seek: glory, redemption, knowledge, or simply the satisfaction of having accomplished a great feat.

Sheep lived in the forest. She would often walk by the farm, and would see Pig sitting sadly in his pen. She talked to him every day, and they became fast friends. After a few weeks it became more than that. They were in love. One day Pig snuck out of his pen and met Sheep by the edge of the forest. There they decided to get married and live together in the forest forever.

Time to sum up another year of Lego building! Went down a bit in productivity this year but still managed 33 builds so pretty happy with that. Had so much fun this year, going to Skaerbaek, writing for BrickNerd, taking part in some great challenges like Summer joust and Brickscalibur to name a few. Thanks a lot to everyone that followed me, faved, commented and all that stuff, I really appreciate it. Got some more builds that I need to photograph so hopefully I´ll be able to get that productivity back up a notch next year ;)
Thanks again everyone!

The seed part are classic minifigure helmets.
14 have been used throughout the MOC: 9 black ones for the rocky path, a red and a blue as mushrooms' caps, a white one for a mushroom's stem, a black and a brown for the buckets on the top right.
For fun I added 3 more headgears, 5 if you count the tree trunk, and 2 hidden figures.

One beautiful summer morning on the coast, a man named Nemyk (wanting to beat the “morning rush”) went down to his favorite fishing spot. What he found instead was a basking mermaid named Lorena, who wanted to take advantage of the first rays of the sun out of the sight of “land dwellers”. Both caught off guard, the two engaged in some awkward small talk before parting ways. As fate would have it, the two would encounter each other again the following morning, and the morning after that, and so on. Gradually warming to each other, the two poured out their hearts, and (after a few months) were deeply in love. On the anniversary of their meeting, both decided to surprise each other with a gift. Nemyk sought a rare flower that was only found deep within the inhospitable Rakath mountains, while Lorena sought a crystal in the cold abyss of the ocean. Neither were prepared for the dangers that awaited them…
Here is my entry for the Rogues and Outlaws category of Brickscalibur.
An old warehouse repurposed by nefarious Wolfpack outlaws as their hideout. Perfect for storing loot and even better when they have to stay under the radar for a while after acquiring it.
It took approximately 2 months to design and build this funny building and I enjoyed every moment of it! There are no skipped corners regarding design and construction-wise here. Meaning it's a complete building and everything is connected to internal frames, angels parts via hinges, no illegal techniques, no flex tubes etc. Piece count is unknown but for sure it's ridiculous for such a small thing.
Model design is heavily inspired by an amazing model created by Tabletop World. You should definitely check them out and see all of the small wonders that the create.
Deep within the swamps the Crocs have a guarded stronghold. From there they control and terrorize the area.

What could be more magical in a forest than a fantastic animal, in this scene we can discover a unicorn in its natural habitat which is just as magical as the animal that occupies it! The vegetation is original colors for a forest.

In our third Round-1-Matchup, we are witnessing one dreadful encounter: Shango, an ominous illusionist from the southern islands faces off against a nameless samurai from the east.
Will the brave young woman be able to withstand the shady tactics of her intimidating opponent?
Remember, this is only the third of eight first-round-matchups. So there are many more to come.
Who will remain the last fighter standing in this epic tournament for the legendary blade "brickscalibur"? They came from all over the world, but in the end there can be only one.
Heavily inspired by the great videogame-series "Soul Calibur", I'm continuing my journey to deliver the complete tournament which each and every fight in a totally new stage.
Some of those scenes may enter fitting categories in the running "brickscalibur"-contest, the 16 fighters for example should be a fit for the kitbash-category.
Oh and by the way: Of course you will also get to know, who have been the winners of all the matchups. I'll make sure to show you the end-of-fight-screen for ech and every match, once the respective round of the tournament is complete. You may aldso take a chance and try to influence me in the comments, since I haven't decided all the outcomings yet. So if you have a favourite character and want to see him fight again, leave me a hint;-)

An entry for the Medieval Micro catagory for Brickscalibur 2023. I've been wanting to use the DUPLO vine for this purpose for a while, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
Trained in secret by a legendary Blade Master, this young woman was accompanying her famous brother on his way to the Brickscalibur Tournament, when their their nightcamp was sudenly attacked by a group of bandits.
When she saw her beloved brother dying in a hail of arrwos, she picked up his blade and fought her way through the attackers, killing each and every one of them.
When the morning finally came and she and her remaining companions buried the fallen comrades, she swore that she would take her brothers place in the Brickscalibur Tournament and win the legendary blade -for the pride of the family.
