Brick Lane London. Street market every Sunday but I was there on a Saturday so missed that. Great old colourful area of east London
Here is a very nice double wide mobile home located on Highway 80. The owner used brick and morter to skirt the mobile home.
The brick steps are a nice touch.

Brick Fair traveled to Birmingham, AL to show of all their blocky goodness. The dealer's section was not huge but slam pack full of goodies, both stock and custom.
Then we checked out the exhibits, which I took pictures of. SO MUCH to see.
Ye olde Castle. Nice details on the buildings, and a witch being burned at the stake while the military walks on by and a lady calmly feeds her chickens.

This year's Brick Fiesta was a bit underwhelming compared to the last two, and I didn't exactly help matters by hardly building all year. But had a good time hanging out with Steve and admiring his huge...ships.
Some unused building bricks taken with a yellow filter and a more defined colour added afterwards in photoshop - just for something different

The brick floor and oak panelling are original. This would have been the family dining room and is where Colonel Alexander Popham planned his campaigns during the Civil War. The Wax models were made by Madame Tussauds for Peter de Savary and represent Alexander and his brother Edward.
This is from a brick on my house, which was built in 1873, over 130 years ago. The bricks look smooth to the naked eye. Taken with a Sigma 50mm f2.8 DG Macro.
Occasionally, there are happy things on the walls here, like this little smiley face. We walked past a group of teenagers smoking in an alleyway on our tour. I was lagging behind, taking in the sights and taking pictures, and one of them said "faggot" and skirted back to his friends. I think it was aimed at me, so I did my best English "fuck off," and found this wall appeasing. All in all, though, the city seems vaguely hostile. It's a lot more like an American city than any other I've found in Europe thus far. The drivers are less careful, the people are a bit less friendly/nice, etc.

Unfortunately I forget what the building is. It's near St. Micheal's church in the St. Pauli district. Answers welcome.
Spot the dog!
Another first time using a certain film, this time Kodak Ektar 100.
Walking down from the flower market leads pretty much directly on to Brick Lane. A long, busy, Sunday market with plenty of colours and bits of street art dotted around.
