Some days I feel nearly invisible. I go almost unnoticed.

Probably left from the Canadian Car and Foundry Company explosion during World War I.

If you drive or walk old Chillicothe, Ohio, streets and alleys, you find numerous well-preserved brick structures.

(I took the photo last year and have used it as desktop, but forgot to post to Flickr.)

The Corn Exchange was built to provide a market hall and a venue for meetings and exhibitions. In 1882 it became the Public Hall.

The Corn Exchange was completed in 1824 for the town’s wheat, flour, butter and cheese markets. In 1853 a glass roof was added and the fish, egg and poultry markets were moved here from the Market Square. The building became a venue for fairs, arts and science exhibitions, public meetings and temperance tea parties. After the building of a new covered market the Corn Exchange became the Public Hall, which could hold up to 3500 people.

Omaha's community bike shop was established right around the corner from where the Infoshop folks once lived. We worked on Critical Mass xerocracy and a fledgling coöp (I slept with the bike parts).

Apparently Gifford Park attracts the likes of us, and fortunately this effort has sustained longer.

I have seen the writing on the wall.

Don't think I need anything at all.

No! Don't think I'll need anything at all.

All in all it was all just bricks in the wall.

Our LUG was approached by the local community TV a while back to see if we'd be interested in doing a show. The program would feature some friendly competition amongst club members.

Over a two-day period (January 31st and February 1st) we shot the 8 episodes of the show.

Each team participated in a round-robin style tournament in which the teams were given the same set and theme to work with. The 6 preliminary episodes, semi-final and final rounds took nearly 16 hours to film, and will be turned into the 8, half-hour shows.

It turned out to be a good time for all participants of the show, and was made even better by drafting all the sets we used after the filming had wrapped.
